Been searching around and stumbled onto some old threads with not a ton of info. I'm looking for a push button switch to wire to a Harrop Rear E Locker that I will be adding to my 2019 SR5. I stumbled onto this switch.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-FOR...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

as well as the ECGS switch

    https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-23993443-factory-toyota-rear-locker-switch-small.html

I'm looking to place the switch into one of the factory smaller button locations in the center of the dash under the Climate controls. or possibly in the overhead location utilizing one of these https://www.shapeways.com/product/8...-overhead-center-switch-panel?li=shareProduct

has anyone used any of these two switches? does the illumination match the OEM light blue of the rest of the dash lights/buttons? or does anyone have any other buttons they would reccommend that fit into these smaller stock locations?

I got mine from a local member that upgraded his E-locker to an ARB and used the ARB switch. It cost me a six pack I think but we are wheeling buddies. You should post a WTB ad in the third gen section and you should be able to find someone with one rattling around in their junk drawer.

CH4X4 has so many options and they come with a plug and pigtail. I bought my 2LO mod switch from them. They have the large and small switches for the factory Toyota locations.

How’s the blue led light in terms of color matching the other switches on the dash?

Have any pic you could share with dash lights lit up?

I haven't installed it yet. But I can put power to later tonight and take a picture for comparison.

I had CH4x4 make me an OEMish front locker switch. The blue back light doesn’t match super well. Air on board supposed to match better.

But since you have the option and want it to look stock buy an OEM switch.

Here are 2 pictures. The blue is a bit more blue than the factory switches. Now I did just have it connected to a 12v drill battery too, I didn't test it's voltage output. I adjusted the dash lights to max.

Sorry not the cleanest shots. The bottom is more blue while the pictogram is closer to stock illumination.

Look right above your post of 2 night shots I just took. Also look at post #9 of this thread @KanPanic has a great shot of one with the lights off. With the lights off it looks factory, with them one, it's close but not quite.

Post some pictures once installed. I am curious how well it matches.

What about using/buying oem rear locking button? Do those fit in the slots you want to put the button in?

I would imagine that are more expensive than a ch4x4 switch.
