I too was a bit worried about taking the power drill to the sheet metal, but it's all good. I've not heard of anyone really screwing up this installation although there's probably a few. I also sprayed painted the holes drilled but I was afraid the enormous pressure exerted by the pop rivets would just scrap it off. So I put a healthy glob of gun grease in and around the holes. Hope that keeps the rust devils away.

    This is great economical upgrade.

Imagene how much easier it would have been to put in that very beautifully done fuse box if you had done that first!

I had some Goodyear Duratrac’s installed today 265/75/16 on stock suspension and wheels ... I installed the spidertrax 1.25 a couple weeks ago ... other than they look great, are quieter than I thought they’d be and they ride comfortably on the road ... you’ll have t wait for some off road thoughts ... oh and slight rub full lock on mudflaps

I think that the routine maintenance and wiring all the accessory installs will be MUCH easier from here on out.

All I will ever run is duratracs. My rubicon has over 75k on them and a ton of meat left. They love mud and sand/snow. And Are quiet. Last rotation at 65k they did get a bit noisy but with another 10 to 15k left I was good with that. Just threw a set on my tacoma last month. As you can tell——can’t say enough about them. Ok. I’m done.

I'm so glad I live somewhere that the only arguement is between a light or heavy 30 rack of busch... between trying to spell the maker or visit it I'm almost blind just reading it!

Also, to contribute I got an auto start on the way from n2 so that's my mod of the day!

I think he was from out of state but not 100% sure. When I lived in SC trailers did NOT have to be licensed or registered. Guess it depends on what state you live in.
