I have two tanks at the shop...

 

Haven’t seen a single intact gas tank before. They drill them out at the yard when they drain all the fluids.

 

All the ones here are good, never seen a drilled one actually.

 

It’s what Pick-n-Pull does. There’s always a huge 1” hole with a red plug in them.

Pick-n-Pull doesn’t even make their money off the car parts, they make their money off the scrap metal. They’re owned by Schnizer Steel. Whatever profits the car parts bring in is just additional.

 

If Pick-n-Pull ceased to exist I’d go out of business overnight. I get 99% of my stock from the 20+ junkyards within a 150 mile radius of me.

 

Have you considered taking them off people's Caddies parked on the street yet

The LC or the Tacoma?

I don't know how good the LC horns are

 

Now that I can finally run a winch I find myself tempted by the inexpensive Badlands ones...but I'll resist the urge. What good is a winch if you can't rely on it.

Although there are people that swear by theirs...but I've read enough negative reviews to keep me at bay

The LC horns will scare you. I used them the other day when I flipped someone off and I felt bad for using the horn and not just my finger. That's how aggressive the stock LC ones are.

The Tacoma just has the meep meep horn.

 

The cheapest I'm willing to go are the smittybilt. I mean fuck they're probably made by the same children making the harbor freight ones but at least their brand has a good reputation.

please do get a video clip. yota horns would be bolt in for my cars..

 

My bumper will be on before those horns get installed.

 

I've heard/read something about how the Smittybilt one's downfall is a lack of proper grease inside from factory...I guess if you open them up and grease them they are more reliable.

I don't know what greasing a winch entails, I vaguely remember the details of that thread
