Me too on the door!!! I thought it was just me, no issue on a 17 with same force. I noticed when another door is open, its much easier so im thinking its a different pressure flap vent thing.

This may be a good thing. If they stiffened or changed the cab vents it will likely reduce the noise levels that are/were present in the 16- 19's.

Possibly keeping the climate controls on default of position of open rather than recirculate may help the pressure when the last door closes.

On the TFL video posted a while back the Toyota dude said they reduced wind/road noise in the 2020's. So maybe whatever they did to achieve that is what you all are experiencing.

Can someone elaborate on this? I didn’t know remote start was even a possibility. So you can download an app and turn on your vehicle from the app? I have something similar on my Ford and love it. I am in the market for a 20 TRD Pro—remote start would be an added bonus for me!

The 2020s have remote start with Entune 3.0. Click lock on the fob 3 times if you are close enough, otherwise also has an app you can use. Free for first year or two then there is an annual subscription. You can also lock/unlock from the app and couple other things.

Sounds like it is only for the AT sadly, no love for the MTs.

There's the normal fob remote start, but there's a subscription service through Toyota that uses an app that you can remote start, lock/unlock doors, and monitor status (odometer, fuel, upcoming service, where you parked, trip, etc). You can even link it through Google Assistant/Alexa, but it's extremely cumbersome. Still kinda neato that I can yell at my house to turn on the truck.
If you're not aware, the truck will stop once you open a door, no matter what method of remote start you used.

Okay, thanks for the info. For 2020, entune 3.0 is standard on all PROs correct?

Lol it would be interesting to have remote start for MTs.

Great info! Kinda of a bummer that the vehicle shuts off when you open the door, but I know Toyota does it to prevent theft. Is there a time limit on how long the vehicle can run on remote start? When Ford first came out with it, The vehicle would only run for 15 mins before it shut off. I like having the remote start for my dogs during the summertime as you can keep the AC running without leaving the keys in your vehicle.

The annual subscription has no effect on the fob. If you stopped paying for the app the remote start will still work via the fob, although you do need to be fairly close to the truck. My Jeep was the same way after I declined to pay for the app after the first year.

Entune 3 is on all of them, I think even down to the SR or at least the SR5.

They make aftermarket remote start for the MT but Toyota doesn't see fit to give us it from the factory.

Edit: To clarify, Entune 3 is on them, but the Premium Audio is required for remote start, which sounds like it is only available as an option on TRD trims.

I thought I read somewhere else that it was 15 minutes, but the app says 10.

I know it is part of one of the add-on packages....premium or advtech. I can’t recall which, but you might not have it if you don’t have the right option package.

I use it on my 2020 Pro and it will last for 10 minutes and then shut off.

No, the advanced tech package does NOT come with remote start with your remote key. It only comes with premium Audio+Nav or premium off-road package (All Pros, TRD sports & OR with the add-on premium package).

Might want to re-read the post. “...premium or advtech package...” meaning it comes with one or the other. lol

And I have a 2020 TRD Sport with Premium and AdvTech package that has remote start with the fob. ;)
