As some of you know my brother owns an RV dealership in Englewood off Broadway. Unfortunately they're closing their doors by the end of the month. Long story short a trailer dealership owes them a ton of money and ended up going under as well as another trailer manufacturer that put them in a bind. After trying to stay ahead for the last few months they've decided to close shop. They're definitely taking it pretty hard as they've spent so much time and effort into the business.

Since the lease ends in Dec, they need help clearing everything out.

I'm asking if anyone can donate time to help them out. If there is enough interest in a one day thing I may create an event in the CO events page for Saturday Dec 14th. That's when myself and my family will be there.

If you would also like to volunteer on a different day during the week or weekend that's great too! Reach out to me and I can get you in touch with my brother.

I need to check my calendar but I may be able to help out on the 14th. Is this just able bodies or would trailers also help out?

 

As far as I know just bodies but I will verify. Assuming they have to move their equipment, tools, etc to another location a trailer may be of use. They do have their towing business as well as rent out UHauls.

 

Anybody know what company is making CaliRaised LEDs? Or a company that offers the same lights under a different name. I'm specifically looking for this one

Never mind think I found them.

 

Has anybody tried the Chinese knockoff baja designs LP9s or the knockoff KC HiLite Flex lights?

 

SanYoung Lights makes both and so far looks like a good product and at 200 a pair versus 1100 it's worth a shot.

 

Link? Like @In4aride said, biggest difference will be the LED chips and reflectors. I would expect the knockoffs to have a cooler (bluer) light temp and less control over the light pattern compared to the originals. What that means for real-world use is more spread of the light resulting in a shorter effective illimunated distance (more flood and less spot), and colors that are more muted from the color temp of the light.

 

Comparing specs they seem to be very close to the originals and company guarantees their product.

Used to order knockoff atlas bipods, RC parts and such all the time from them with zero issues.

 

Need to correct myself, its 100 per pair with a 2 pair min order.

Color temp of 6500k is in "cool white" territory, and it shows in the video.
