    @cruiserguy has the Amsoil vs Mobil vs Shell vs Schaeffers oil debate been beaten to death enough yet?

    I know my yota engines are happy with damn near everything as long as it get changed regularly. Between soot, fuel dilution, and higher temps the diesels are HARD on oil so I am inclined to spend a little bit more on oil changes for those

    I like sticking with one brand/type if anything just to satisfy my minor OCD...but I agree I don't think brand really matters as long as you do it regularly.

    Broke this bolt on the Tundra door trying to tighten it (picture from my Tacoma but same thing)

    Seems like it's the only bolt not listed in the door diagrams.

    The new 6.7 F250s are so quiet. Couple of the rich ag kids at my school drive them.

    they are crazy quiet compared to the 6.0ls and 7.3ls especially.

    A big part of it is that the new trucks use pilot injection. the 6.0l was originally released with it but ford pulled it from the tune due to reliability issues. Here's a demonstration of how much of a difference it makes

    @cynicalrider @Reh5108

    any idea if I can run manual hub CVs with an ADD axle tube? I have a spare ADD tube with the stub shaft I could run if I can't get the broken spline end out of my manual hub tube

    Yeah, people just modify the add tube to always on/engaged that way you can lock/unlock at the hub itself.

    By the way, my fedex delivery guy is the best.

    He stopped me while I was on the main road already to hand me my package; it required a signature so rather than miss delivery, I was able to grab it. Much win because I work for the next 5 days.

    Yep.

    Plenty of how tos found because people had trouble finding a manual diff tube for their 4x4 conversion.

    @Tour991 has one as I bought his front diff without the tube; I've got a manual tube with new bearing already
