Got these installed last week. Stock size, P265/70 R16. Running at 30psi per truck door label. Handles absolutely amazing! Quiet ride, great look and feels very glued to the ground. Went up into the mountains hiking and took it up a 20 mile very windy road and it felt amazing. Here are a few pics since I had a hard time finding some before I bought.

Thanks for the report and pictures, they look great. Haven’t had the Revo 3’s but I did have an older Revo a couple trucks ago, they were a great tire. Will definitely consider these for the Tacoma when the time comes.

Good to know. I will be looking for tires in the near future for my truck. I do mostly highway miles with the Frontier Pro 4x so good highway characteristics is important to me, along with a quite ride.

Nice I just ordered the same tire for my Tacoma and I was a bit worried that I might have gone with wrong tire... but I think it’ll be the right tire.. I do some trailing but more road driving to the trails lol..

I think you’ll really like them. I like the appearance but really love the road feel. I’ve seen a few other online reviews with moderate trailing and they got good reports.

Good to know, I’ll be in the market for a set soon, my BFGoodrich Rugged Terrains have served me well for 50k+ miles for almost 4 yrs but maybe reaching their end in another 10k or so miles.

I’ve always liked Bridgestone so its good to hear good reports should I decide to give them a try or go down that road.

    Cheers

I had those tires on a previous Tacoma, excellent in the rain.

How would you compare these to the Michelin Defender LTX M/S that you once had? Been researching tires and came across this post and the one a few years back when you had swapped out KO2’s for the Defenders.

Interesting, I had the Revo2 on a 2nd Gen for 40k km. They were a great tire for mostly on roads..

The defenders are a great tire. I won’t knock it. But I wanted something a bit more aggressive in both looks and performance so I went back to the BFG’s. However, I just do not like the handling of a LT tire on these trucks. This tire, the Revo 3 is a “P” rated tire, light, stock size and does all I need. So far I love the feel on the road and it does well up in the Colorado mountains.

No Milage loss at all from the stock Goodyear’s. I average 20+ around town. My BFG’s were 17.

How has it been on ice or snow (if you have had any) and did you notice any mpg gain or loss from stock? What ply are you running too? Thanks

They have been awesome in the snow and ice. I’m in Colorado and also just drove to AZ and back, 2000 miles and moved them! Averaged around 20mpg and had zero issues. They feel glued to the ground. They are “P” rated and are not a LT PLY tire. Same size and spec that came on the truck. ZERO regrets.

I just picked up a set of 17" wheels and am looking for a good set of tires to put on it 265/65R17. Love the look of these, I don't go off road but need something good in snow and rain here in Michigan.

Not entirely accurate on the spec....

The stock tire is a 265/70/16/112(euro-metric). At 30 psi, it has 2,149 lbs of inflated load capacity.

Your new tire is a P265/70/16/111(P-metric). At 28 psi, it has 2,179 lbs of inflated load capacity.

I sell these tires for a living. I run these on my truck as well. I looked through the comments but didn't see any mention of the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol.

I enjoy these tires throughly but if I had know they did not have the 3pmsf rating I may of went with another option. Although the last two years driving through snow and ice had been fine. I would recommend them as well and I run mine at 32 psi.

I bought Revo 2’s on closeout last year.
    AF8460A8-FDE4-46DA-9D6B-A683559C89D4.jpg
So far they are awesome! 25k miles and drive great. Next spring I’ll have 50k miles on them. Hope they last.
I’ll be buying Revo 3’s when these are done.

    As always, white letters out!

Anybody have any a picture of the Revo 3’s on the 17” wheels. Also any other snow reviews?
