    what is "app radio"?

edit: if you mean iHeartRadio or SlackerRadio then you need the Premium Head Unit with Navigation.

dont get the 2020 heat unit. It's not worth the money. the standard 2020 head unit that comes on TRD's has NO functionality besides carplay. It has no GPS feature. you have to upgrade + $3000 to the premium to get carplay AND a gps.

Most of my playtime happens in areas without GPS and I liked having the GPS in my 2016 as a backup in those areas. Now I'm playing around with different offline GPS apps and haven't found one that was as useful as the GPS and Map that came in the 2016 when off the grid. (Didn't trade in the truck for the power seat and carplay. Truck got a little totaled on a foggy road + deer)

That's good to know. I really just dig the LED lights. I personally don't mind the stock head unit in my '19, really dig the GPS. I think I would go with the android tablet if I really wanted android auto but I really would only want it for google maps so it's not a priority. Of course my bluetooth music has been pausing randomly and acting weird recently which is discerning :\
