Manuals have the A-TRAC System in place of CC, and yes that is purpose of the Booster/MC combo in the OR and Pro.

Holy smokes... I was JUST about to head to the dealer to ask about this exact thing on my month old '20: feels like ABS is interfering with the braking. Very slightly; not that it's effecting the braking or anything, but I can feel it...

Thought it might just be me - but it sounds like a common thing on the off-road?

So far it’s what everyone is telling me. I have yet to try the brake test suggested. It’s almost like a scratchy feedback/light vibration/ bite etc when braking down sometimes in slow speeds? Like in the first half of the brake action pushing down

Let's say theoretically , you remove the brake booster or add the other tacoma's braking mechanism... I wonder...maybe I will just learn to get used to it lol

I honestly still feel like I'm not used to the brakes. Especially a low speed emergency stop. I'm still herky jerky.

My 2020 OR is 2 yrs old now and I've noticed the little notch in the pedal feel since day one and it has never bothered me,but now I have a new little quirk that I think is related. When I back my truck in the driveway and am going from drive to reverse trying to get her in the perfect position..lol...when I am applying the brakes lightly I can hear an approx 1.5 second whirring sound(very faint) coming from the area of the firewall and a click that is easy to hear coming from under the hood somewhere(not the pads slapping against the rotors). Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
