Definitely not a wizard I guess, since I didn't understand that. Sounds like something from a Harry Potter movie:D

My favorite oil. I run that in the Taco, my hemi Ram and my '03 SV650 track bike. The big KTM transmission doesn't like it much tho, which was surprising. I run Mobil1 4T moto oil in that.

Some of the samples I've tested were the T6 oil from like a fleet of Cummins Rams. This company was running the oil out to like 12k or 15k miles and the tests looked great. The additive package (the protective crap, each maker does their own proprietary blend of whatever) would still show at like 15-30% life left. I was like huh???? Come to find out that company wasn't filling out on the oil sample info that they were adding up to a couple/few quarts to keep oil level full. So that's why the tests were showing a lot more of that protective package remaining. It's a high testing quality oil.

I’m taking the flatbed front diff Friday to a friends machine shop. I’ve been trying to pull the CVs out of it for over a week.

Pretty sure I’m going to break the manual diff tube and have to hose clamp an ADD tube actuator.

    Holy fuck

So I posted a small rant about the places I was checking out and how nothing went as planned.

I submitted an application for another location on Friday. I call Tuesday to follow up and see if I can check out the place on my only available days of Wed and Thur.

I get an appointment for Thursday at 9am

This morning at 720am, the lady that's supposed to show me the apartment says she cant make it to town due to all the heavy traffic the night before going home etc.

    Great.

Well yesterday I went to the one and only apartment complex that I deemed "pretty good, with a not so ideal location regarding where the building is facing" to check out their other available apartments.

Only the receptionist was there and advised me the staff has meetings all day and to return tomorrow.

Well, its tomorrow and I show up only for there to be a sign that says won't be back until 3pm.

Its fucking amazing; I have way more than triple the required deposit sitting aside, I've got amazing credit, and I own my own home outright and I can't even get a damn apartment cause everyone's so damn busy wtf?

That is frustrating. Doubt you'll break the diff tube though.

No luck popping the CVs out with a pry bar?

we got really lucky with the house my wife and I rented, it's small (2 bed 1 bathroom) but it's a home nonetheless with a pretty big backyard in a good neighborhood. The price was well below average for it too which we thought was odd when looking (and utilities included)

We met with the landlord first thing in the AM and he tells us it's one of a few properties he owns, but this one is the house he grew up in. His biggest concern was finding the right tenants for it and not making a big profit off it. My wife, being a queen of organization and business planning, put together a portfolio of all of our information...financials, bank statements, pictures of us, references and even a personal letter about who we are and what we want out of life.

After we met him and toured the house, he said he had several more people to meet for it and would let us know. On the way home about 20 minutes later he called us and told us it was ours.

I give my wife 100% credit for it lol. We did get lucky finding it though, out here for 99% of landlords its about charging as much as possible and forcing people out to charge even more when they see fit
