Has anyone attempted to hook up a light bar to your high beams and a panel switch? I would like to be able to turn on my LED bars when the truck is off and when I turn on my high beams driving. I hate having to hit the switch and high beams when driving.

Easy to do and I have it on my truck - except that I do not have a separate switch to enable / disable the light bar coming on with the high beams. (They always come on with my high beams.) All you need is a relay triggered off the high beam circuit.

Hell, you could even keep a separate switch that just turns the LEDs on as well as the relay to turn them on with the high beams.

I created a post back in 2015 asking a similar question and looking back at it, it seems like I'm talking to myself because the other individual's accounts were deleted. Heres the permalink My wiring diagram. The second posting is the correct wiring diagram that you'll want to do. The D2's and the LED bar are wired in parallel so you can negate the D2's. You could also negate the complexity of the switches but I wanted the versatility of using one single pole double throw switch to have the lights On all the time, or on only when my high beams are on.

Edit: I just included the post in question to save you the trouble.
