So did I miss it or are the Rigid 360s for Third Gen out yet? I looked on their site and they didn’t look the same to me. Hoping to get some amber ones.

When I checked on Nov 29 they said 1-2 weeks out for the Tacoma mounts (though didn't have a hard confirmation on the date), the lights themselves are available:

For those of you who were wondering/waiting, we did confirm fitment of the SS3 on 2012-2015 today. Perfect fit, no issues at all. We have now tested this setup with 2012-2019 Tacoma as well as newer Tundra and 4Runner (since I know we have some lurkers in this thread!)

Those look awesome. Is there any difference in the mounting points for a 2010? I know the shroud is different but as long as the holes line up I'm happy.:fingerscrossed::)

The mounting system is entirely different. 12+ use tab mounts, 05-11 use this kind of bucket mount. It is maybe possible you could make the round version of the lights fit without using the Diode Dynamics provided Tacoma mount by securing the light side bolts through the side of the bumper bucket mount. May not look perfect and high possibility it won't work correctly though, aiming could also be a significant challenge.

As @crashnburn80 said, it's totally different. We have a bracket setup coming for that application too though.

05-11 Tacoma’s are constantly left out for fogs, so I’m sure they will be quite excited for that product launch!

Pre-order as in ordering before the initial release of the SAE lights? That is when I ordered mine. Check your junk mail maybe?

Alright. Thanks for the info. I'll be happy for sure when that bracket comes out. Order still placed. :spending:

Would be nice if they’d post some info outlining exactly what the fix is and some updated output pictures.

Oh I don’t either, they continually ignored this thread while constantly being called out. They’re all over new product releases and such but disappear when a problem comes up.

I’m a big Baja designs fan, have thousands of dollars worth of their lights. I was pretty disappointed to see how they acted when their sae lights were proven to not be compliant.

And I’m very interested to see if the fix is some bullshit the fastest easiest thing they could come up with for now and the sae line will get a worthwhile revision down the road or what. But since they’ve dodged every question I’ve asked here and in email I’d expect that to be what happens.

The fix is a light/glare shield over the upper 5% of the emitter, though I haven't seen what it looks like yet. I anticipate this is implemented on the outer changeable lens. They said they ran it by some folks at SEMA and the aesthetics went over well. I'll post up output pics when I retest them.
