And I don't know how to adjust the lights dimming... It's a 2019... As far as I know there's no brightness adjustment thing... I suppose maybe in the menu options somewhere

The dash switches & console should dim in unison.

    @JordanJake25

I think caribe is trying to verify if the Main Body ECU is functioning correctly. I think that I have another way of doing this also. And also checking to make sure that power is leaving the front of the vehicle and headed towards the TAIL LIGHTS.

If you get an opportunity. Pleas try the following procedure.

    1) Do the relay swap that I wanted you to do earlier. I need this information first to verify that the TAIL RELAY is good.
    2) Put relays back in.
    3) Using the switch - turn tail lighst OFF
    4) Find the 7.5 amp fuse labled TAIL (is this the fuse your replaced?)
    5) Pull the fuse out.
    6) Check both sides of the fuse socket with a DMM (looking for 12V (+) (you should find NONE with the switch OFF)
    7) Turn the TAIL LIGHTS (ON)
    8) Check the fuse socket again (you should FIND 1 of the pins has 12 V (+).

    Check them fuses.

I just tried installing interior MESO lights, and blew a fuse or two.

My puddle pods are not working, and nothing lights up as far as map lights go / dome light.

If fuses don’t work, and you can’t figure out the problem.

I'm an Industrial Technician. And Caribe obviously has some technical expertise. It' isn't easy troubleshooting through someone who has little experience. But it is possible. And, if you know how, there are lots of things you can do before taking it back to the dealer.

Ahhh, things that happen when you want cool lights and chop into the factory(perfectly fine harness). Sometimes best to leave the factory wiring alone. Imo if you’re gonna do it everything should be soldered and heat shrink .

Totally agree to an extent. However...
O.P already fucked it up once. More work without tons of experience May lead to future bigger problems.

But hey. I can’t even do dome lights properly ( left my truck running like a jackass )

Tail relay output to conductor (C)

    IMG_1718.jpg

Conductor (C) goes to 7.5 A Fuse - Leaves fuse as [EB1] to tail lights.

Seriously, you guys are awesome. I'm just getting up, but to answer a simple one from last night, yes when you toggle the lights from the first DRL to the second DRL setting, the dash lights get bright and the main screen dims
