What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Students from my alma mater, Cal Poly, made these tow hitch covers as their Senior Project. Also, acts as a locking locker for keys, etc. Tied into the brake lights, although not as bright as I would have wanted. They also made American flag designs and custom designs.

 

Spidertraxx 1.25 spacers here. The tires are a smidge past the fender. 265/75/17. So your 285 will peek out a tad more. But I love the stance.

 

Installed my cheap Amazon light bar. Its got white spot light in the center and amber flood on the sides.

 

Did the AJT fob and MESO Gasshole today. Started this morning definitely more than a 2 beer mod!

 

put some 235/85/16 General ATx tires on the 2020.

 

Did you swap your OEM grille out for an aftermarket Pro grille? If so, how’d you find relocating the camera? Any difference in how the TSS works being lowered from the emblem to the base?

 

I could use a little help. I have the black SEMA TRD wheels(OEM) on my truck. I find in the last 10 months I have owned it, they seem to be getting dull. I know they are not high gloss wheels but I would prefer them to be brighter. I have tried to search on this forum for some tips, but nothing came up with any value. I even went to a Meguiar's forum and could not find what I was looking for. I don't want them to shine like high gloss paint but better than they look now. What are you guys using?

Install was very easy but just time consuming, ECT was plug and play once the head unit was out, just had to route 1 wire to an add a fuse in the fuse panel. The camera was fine if you watch the video below and follow along, the only thing you have to ignore is the wire colors in the youtube video and watch the video on the anytime site.

Getting off work yesterday, I went out to the parking lot, climbed in my Taco, fired it up, and promptly set off the alarm in the car parked next to me.

My dual MBRP exhaust might be a wee bit louder than I'd previously thought.
