Nice...I couldn’t find anyone with any experience with the Bighorns but I like Maxxis tires.

I'll prolly start another thread to start reviewing them. As far I can tell the only D rated 255 and cheapest. I'm running stock 4.10s with LCE heavy flywheel and LCE pro clutch on a 4cyl 2.7 Xcab. I don't know if rolling will be a problem yet with out regearing.

my KM2s have a raised white letter that I made sure was hidden in the fender. my 255/85r16 KM2s need constant rebalance. Tire shop guy said KM2s where good off-road but always need rebalance. its true I rebalance 3x/yr and should prob do it more often with the KM2s. I will prob sell them off at 1/2 tread and try something different

New to Tacomas and to the forum. I'm a fan of tall and skinny. It's what I run on my feed truck (235/85r16)and has always served me well in all kinds of nasty conditions around the ranch.
I've read the last 5 or so pages of this thread and searched as well but I'm still unclear.
    Can I run a 255/85R16 on a stock 2013 Taco with a V6 manual 6 speed?
I saw that Spentshells is running these on a stock TRD but don't know the difference between these two trucks.
I'm hoping to not modify the truck too much as it's a real pleasure to drive compared to my heavy pulling trucks. Just want enough clearance to get around the ranch.
    Thanks for the help!

Welcome to TW! I’ve heard you can fit those with no lift, and I have that size with an approx 2.5” lift with clearance everywhere...I wish I could be more help.

I know folks are saying the 3rd gens will fit them with no lift. Not sure about the 2nd gens. I think the 3rd gen has about an inch more of clearance at stock height. Someone correct me if I’m wrong please.

I’m looking at the 5100/888 lift & AAL in rear with 255/75r17 tires. Not wanting to trim, beat in pinch welds, or CMC to keep from rubbing. So I have some questions:

What kind of offset, if any, would I need in my wheels to prevent me from doing those three things?
With the skinnier tires, would I need to change UCA to correct any caster?
And lastly, What are SEMA wheels?

Apologies if these have been answered, but I can’t find it. I appreciate any help.
