Been admittedly quiet. Work's monitoring internet usage these days so I had to tone it down a bit. :spy:

Still getting settled after the long trip and will start tearing down the truck in the coming weeks. First thing is to assess the damage, which I don't expect to be too bad.

After the initial frustration, I genuinely didn't mind the breakage this time around. Last year the truck broke because it wasn't ready. This year it broke because I'm learning, and that's something I'm ok with. :)

I'll update with pictures and descriptions once I have the motivation to crawl under the Tacoma and start taking stuff apart. Right now I'm enjoying the lack of looming deadlines and working on paying off everything I bought recently. There's always a credit run-up around race time, but next year should be far less than it was this year.

Hell, fuel costs for my driving days were around $200 a day to get out to Primm and back. I need to pay all that off before I start sinking money into the Tacoma again.
