That's what I was looking at at first. Then I saw the push start ignition. And its fob had a remote start option so two birds one stone in my opinion

    Which system is that?

If it wasn't for progress we'd be cranking/starting our Tacoma engines with hand held cranks under the radiator, ignore the haters.

It's a cheaper brand I was looking at, but a lot of the reviews turned me off to the product

It has a review from a guy with a Tacoma that calls himself Tator. Lol. Sounds like the manufacturer is good at helping his customers. Supposedly there are a lot of errors in the manual as far as operation with poor translation.

If anything, this thread should express interest in A. Heads up displays or B. Paddle shifters as those are two more desirable, more realistic ventures which does not compromise the security integrity of the truck as a whole like a push button system would.

Years ago I made a push-button start elcamino before such things were cool. Tho the kid who bought it thought it was.

You said “luxury side” you realized you bought a Tacoma right? That’s funny.

The real work is fishing the keys out of your pocket. It's nice being able to leave your keys in your pocket and just push s button, but to get the full effect you would have to change your locks to do the proximity thing with key fob.
