Hey @Flatliner I sent OZ an email and asked when they would have their 40 inch bar back in stock and they replied sometime between the 24th and 31st of December. Their website list the bar for $119 with wiring so hope that price doesn't change. Maybe Amazon will list it again cheaper. Since you like the bar and it's a great fit I may wait for it to be back in stock. You didn't have to trim anything on the rack for it to fit did you? Also did you use their wiring harness that came with the light and do you like the output? As you can see I'm still trying to decide what to do. Think I'm killing some brain cells thinking about this so much. :D

Haven’t heard anything back. Should I handle this a different way than the email to info@victory4x4.com?

Perfect fit with no mod using the victory mount. I used the harness but cut it to fit. I dont have a comparison on the light output as this is my first offroad vehicle but it works well for me and I'm very happy with it.

That is what I was worried about also living in Ohio. Did you get that squared away? I’m still undecided.

Thank you sir. I don't remember if I asked you or not but since you used their wiring harness did it fit down the windshield alright with no issues?

So I'm not sure if tech support has handled this specific issue or not, but what I initially thought was a lack of zinc primer, on a second look isn't the case. In this circled area you can see the zinc primer under the topcoat. That means that the powder got chipped of in those rusted places somehow (maybe in shipping, maybe on install, not sure.) The good news is anywhere there is zinc won't have any issues at all. So if this ever happens, just touch up the chips and you are good to go. Of course, if it was our fault in handling or shipping the product we will handle the issue through customer service. Let me know if you have any other questions. This zinc coating is VERY effective at stopping rust in our area. (We are in Michigan)

    Thanks Daryl,

I got an email from Chris today so a replacement should be coming. From what I remember you guys had the mounts wrapped separately and packaged well, but I know I was careful not to scratch or dent anything while putting it all together too.

Sorry for the delay, very busy right now with work. When I cut it to size, I removed the wire loom tubing for a better fit. I then carefully taped over with some electrical tape. It looks really good.

I don't think i have a pic and I am leaving town for a week in the morning so I don't really have time to get one posted, sorry.
