Well since I recently went a little crazy with mods for black friday that is going to have to wait and I will have to improvise.

Oh yeah, sorry for the delayed response on your text. I have some things to do this weekend but we should be able to work in a meet or you just coming to me if I am busy for a while at home. I have to do both, run errands and work around the house.

I'll reply to your text later tonight.

Now if it's easier for you and you want to swing by tonight, later, then that's ok with me too. I can text you whenn we are leaving downtown, and what time I expect to be arriving at the house.

Me and the missus have plans tonight but I have literally 0 on the schedule for Saturday (Except for apparently going to bath and body works so the she can buy an absurd amount of candles), so I can probably come to your place. For a second I thought maybe you changed your mind about not wanting a cover for your new truck :rofl:and decided the extang was the perfect choice.

Have you ever installed one of these before? Trying to gauge if I need to get my mechanically inclined buddy to come help me out lol.

btw those smoke tubes work very well! Want some pellets?

    :anonymous: what tonneau cover :D.

Naaaa, one of the things I bought the day was a practically new Softopper.
    :taco:

Ok, I'll try to knock the running out early, then try to be home to allow 2 hours of daylight. Then you and I should be able to figure it out. I have no idea what secures it to bed but I'd assume something at the cab end, and then sheer weight holds it down, and I believe they lock.

If that fails there's Sunday. :fistbump:

Thank you for the offer. I wouldn't mind trying them.

I have hickory growing on the property and I'm going to cut one down, use my radial arm saw to cut pucks, the split those, let it season, then when I use it, make a mixture of bourbon and dry seasonings and soak it for a couple days.

Where do you buy the pellets?

Sounds good, just shoot me a text on Saturday. I shouldn’t be doing much.

I get pellets a bunch of places... where ever I find a good sale. Gotten them at Lowes, Courtland (Ace) hardware, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc. I’ll bring you a big bag to try out for all of your troubles.

That's one hell of a life story! As long as you are happy though that's all that matters. There are a lot worse places than Mass.

We moved around a lot when I was younger, Dad in the Marines and all. Best time was the four years in Hawaii. Worst part was having to move back to Baltimore.

We have a lot of really decent members in all of those places you listed. If you are lined up for work though and your pay stays the same I'd have to guess N.C. has the lowest cost of living. I could live there. Been to Myrtle Beach a couple of times. Fantastic people down there. I like being by the water.

If I moved to Texas it would have to be down near the RGV. I have some friends on here that live down in Lago Vista too with lake frontage. The pics are gorgeous. They are originally from Jersey and love it there. But I say all this and that heat in the southern part of the state might be too much for me. I like it cold. Hate the snow though, here, where people don't know how to deal with it.

Well, I'm sorry to hear your trip will be short this time, but I still wish Y'all a Merry Christmas, especially the kiddo's, and a Happy New Year. Safe travels!

Hell Yea. That's only a 1.5 hour drive for me. Basically a bad commute day to work LOL.

Prices are fair considering all you're getting. Complimentary Ice Cream?!!!!!!!!!! The reviews are very high too, both on Google and Yelp.

Looked at Google Street View and it shows a Dicky's BBQ there in the pic. The parking lot is very large and there is is even incogneato parking behind the building.

    I endorse this selection. :hungry:

Yes the Dicky’s BBQ franchise up and left in the middle of the night much like the Colts once did.

It takes me about 25mins to get there from South Baltimore if the traffic isn’t jacked.

Right and it's an hour or less for me to get to Baltimore.

Well, let's see what everyone says. I'll cross post this in a couple of places as see what bites.

It's going to be tough for most, myself included, until after the first of the year. Unless people have off for the holidays and nothing to do. My vent visors and hood struts go on this weekend, and I'm running up to Pa an hour or so away to pick something up. I need to hook up with @pdenajim this weekend and get my egg nog. My Softopper will be here on the 12th. I'm off that day though for doctors appointments so I'm going to try to install it afterwards. My Cabrac ships on the 17th but that will likely take at least a week to get to me.

It's best to give everyone time to plan. Then more will show up obviously.

Do it on Jan 4th? It’s a Saturday, have everyone meet up around noon?

I’m in 56 minutes from my house and 7 minutes from @RedDeadTaco place. I can always stay there.

The 4th is maybe too close to the 1st. Just about everyone will be cleaning up from both holidays on the 4th.

The 11th though........vacation (of sorts) is over, and you're pissed because you're back to the same old work schedule.......you'll likely think to yourself, "damn, that was nice, I need to hit lotto so I can live like that all the time".

Then you remember, "Hey, I'm meeting the boys for some smoked brisket and complimentary ice cream!!!" "WOOT WOOT"

But the date could change a couple times. Depends on everyone else. I'll try to rearrange my schedule to work it out.

I might be able do the 11th, playoff football on the 11th though, so if the Ravens have a early Saturday game I’ll have to work at the bar.

Well, not to jinx them or anything but the 11th's out then. Shit, maybe the 4th if it is good for everyone else. Either that or it sounds like you're inviting us all to the bar?!

That could be fun, parking would be terrible, home playoff game and the bar is in Federal Hill, going to be nuts.

The 4th is the wild card round but the Ravens will have a bye that week. I’m a Skins fan so I don’t have worry about any interference there.

I would like to come down one day but not for a game. I prefer the conveniences that being home offers. Plus I like to scream at the tv and a lot of people aren't into that sorta thing.
