It looks like that set was made to have a jack originally, but newer models went to the cord. There’s like a provision for it already built into the casing.

I can do it, if you want to send em to me PM me and I’ll send you my SF address. I don’t send things to my home this time of year because packages get stolen a loooot during the holidays. My SF address goes through a mailroom.

    @Area51Runner

When I do my 4x4 swap, should I hold onto my Prerunner spindles for ya so you can swap in the correct parts or will you be sourcing your own 4x4 spindles for your ADD or manual hub setup?

I ask because I've got a set of manual hub spindles to swap in so I won't be reusing my spindles.

Also, Home Depot didn't have purple enamel paint.

Will have to check Lowe's one of these days; I'm going black/purple on the manual hubs I'll rebuild sometime next month.

That's cheaper than what those ridiculous cheapskate supertech lovers spend and they'll stop destroying their engines if they switch to this! :D
That is very very inexpensive for what should be good oil. I imagine that oil performs similar to their T6 stuff? Maybe it doesn't have as high of Zinc as the T6, being that it's not specifically formulated for diesel engines?

Rotella has finally been brought into the SOPUS marketing family. They have T6 Multi vehicle as well. Rotella Gas Truck has been shown to be very good oil from the UOA's i've seen. 179 Moly is pretty stellar:

Yeah that's a good amount of moly, wow. I think that's a good amount of Zinc too I think? Maybe not, it's been a couple years. This is a UOA specifically from that oil in the link?

Ha! Maybe it's the same and they got smart and slapped a different sticker on it so people would realize it's safe for gas engines too lolol

Its good for a non "performance" oil. AKA something marketed for older vehicles or diesels.

On the other end of the marketing spectrum:

    What is?

    The purple?

We had the vote here in the lunchtable some 1-2 months ago about what color I should go with.

The last set I rebuilt were in black/red; they were going to be my spares but someone in here bought them.

I'd go black/neon but it would clash with my white truck.

Thx for the offer - whenever I do get around to it I'll end up tracking down the 4wd spindles.

Will you be able to get it done by LT Meet in Moab?

Or at the very least, LT goes to Europe?

fuckk, how awesome would it be to wheel on Mars. I'd volunteer to go on a one way mission if I could do that

Real quickly since you're here, you remember which is the fuel sys cleaner that was PEA? Was it the RedLine stuff? Maybe the Regane? Can't remember and for some reason I can't find a search bar in the BITOG forum lol

Probably not, unless maybe there was a huge amount of money to be made in it haha. Of course she would never admit it but, everyone has their price

I just put it in the Taco (6th quart of supertech full synthetic :luvya:). Oil was pretty consistent in color and smell to what I see with T6
