Whatsup Tacoma world! New to the Toyota world and to the truck world in general. Got this girl 9 days with only 41K on the dash! I have some plans for upgrades but only put in a new radio and interior LED lights. I wanted to put more pics but I’m on mobile and it’s taking forever! Haha I came from the E39 world and I can’t believe how much I love this truck and how cheap most mods are!!

    Welcome and it looks great!

I got my truck, 2010 SR5, about 6months ago and I put in a Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX and am very happy with it! There is a lot of talk in the Audio/Video section that you will want to check out. Lots of options and mods.

    Have fun!

Looks nice! Amazingly low miles. Since you're in Pennsylvania, be sure to inspect the frame. You've got somewhere between 6 months and 1 1/2 years years left to qualify for a free frame.

Thanks! I put an Pioneer AVH-1550NEX in. I’m really surprised how many mods are out there. Next step, after floor mats and window guards will be a grill up date, a bull bar and plasti dipping chrome to black.

I talked to my dealer yesterday about this. He said that since it didn’t come up when it got inspected, the same month I bought it, then I don’t need it. I’ll probably get it checked out by another Toyota dealership since I’m pretty sure my truck passed inspected/emission with a leaky exhaust.

Nice clean truck! Enjoy! Have your frame inspected now. If you are from the North Hills have it done by Keith at Baierl in Cranberry. If he says its clean...it is.

Crawl underneath and look for yourself. If the frame looks like this, start looking for a hole. Especially look at the frame rails beside the catalytic converters. Find out when your date of 1st use was(The date the truck was originally sold new). You have 12 years from date of 1st use. There are LOTS of people who have joined TW crying because the truck they just bought has rust holes and Toyota tells them they're SOL because it's more than 12 years.

And bull bars don't protect anything. They're damage multiplyers.

I’ll check it out when I have a free moment when the suns out! I’ll post my findings.
Oh really? I thought they could at least lessen the blow from hitting a deer!

Nope. The bull bar mounts are weak and the bull bar gets smashed into the grill and hood.

Hitting a dear, you're pretty well screwed anyway, but just a very minor hit to the bull bar is gonna destroy stuff.

Make sure you have comprehensive insurance and don't hit the deer. LOL And above all, don't swerve to miss the deer and go in the ditch.
