I went with the short bed option ... I already have a work truck and I besides I think the SB looks the best :)

the LB makes the truck look more proportional overall... preference but still facts... plus Whenever you need to pack more than you want, theres the extra foot of space to fit it. 2 trip is better than 3.

SB is better for off roading as many have pointed out. Not to disparage the LBedders here... but I just think the long beds look markedly worse than the SB haha

These are always fun threads. I think the short bed looks proportional stock. I think the long bed looks proportional lifted. I think you can fit more shit in a long bed. I think you can park a short bed in the city.

I don’t live or work in a city, and I lifted my truck, and I carry a lot of shit so I went with the long bed. Frankly as a mid sized truck neither is too big nor too small.

Yea --- meant DC only. I am so used to thinking about DCs that I forget ACs exist haha.

To be fair, I think AC are the best looking Tacomas and great for off roading (obviously).

    Like, so many.
I think just the opposite. The LB looks out of whack. My last truck was a midsized lol my bed and while it was certainly useful, it never looked right to me.

so your last truck was a midsize LB or Tacoma LB? because a single/ex cab chevy colorado with LB does look whack . but the tacoma double cab SB look like a tap-pole. but it really what you use if for, if heavy offroad, then a DC LB is not a choice.

Short bed works perfect for me. If I need more room I'd buy a full size.
