Going wheeling on Sunday in the mountains, hoping they get more snow tomorrow

 

What are they saying on potential rain totals? I guess this may help the fire situation? Or not so much?

 

Helps for now, but then again we're well out of fire season now anyway (fire season is late summer/fall when the humidity drops to near 0% and just looking at a dry shrub the wrong way will light it on fire)

The issue with getting a lot of rain though is that when summer hits and the heat waves come, all that growth that prospered from the rains now becomes big fire hazards

Has anyone extended the AC drain at the firewall?
If so, what tubing did you use to do it?

The tube on the firewall is 0.55in OD.

haven't yet but its on the list. I initially was going to use some left over fuel line but was thinking clear instead. Hell, now that I think about it, have a bunch of leftover silicone tubing from when I replaced the vac lines. Not clear of course but I imagine that would be better than fuel line hose (much more flexible). Anything would be fine really

 

silicone tubing would work well.
I didn't wanna use fuel hose since it's pretty stiff and likely wouldn't stay attached that well.
I'll shop around for something the right size.

 

Some 3/4 coolant hose probably slip over that
