As powerful as I seem to be - that is beyond my abilities. :(

    Can moderators still win prizes?

I saw this thread and I thought "Another thread with a solution that is going to be too much work." I'm glad I decided to come on in. I'm 5'12" and I am constantly missing cars, motorcycles, and low flying aircraft. I'm tempted to go outside right now and perform this "mod." Thanks!

I'm no math guy, and correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe 5'12" is also known as 6ft. I know what you mean though about not wanting to go through the trouble for some of these mods. I'm fairly lazy and was very relieved to find out all i had to do was push up on my mirror to make "mod" it. I still can't believe how many people (including myself) had this problem and never tried to simply adjust thier mirror. i felt retarded when i read that that was all you had to do

Hey nd, did you turn your mirror upside down yet? I have to do that today. Pb's thread shows the mirror all the way up. Right where I want it. No more blind spot!!!

Oh and 1000 posts! Damn! All from last month? Haha.

    Hey you're right, i did break 1000.... i'm awesome!!

yeah, i tried turning it upside down and i really couldnt tell much of a difference, i think i'm fine just having it pushed up all the way. when its upside down the little flippy thing you push when the lights behind you are too bright is on top, plus i have a parking badge haning from mine and when its upside down it points out in a weird angle and bothers me. My driving experience is so much better after this thread :)

Last month was a really slow month here at work so i had lots of time to post. My job is similar to a firefighter in one aspect. My cousins and uncle are all firefighters, they say you could go days without a fire and you just hang out all day and wash the truck and work out and goof off, or there could be fire after fire and you get no sleep at all. My job is similar in that way. There are plenty of days where i get paid to do absolutely nothing. But there have been times where i have worked for 36 hours straight with only 2 one hour breaks and i have worked 70 hour work weeks before. And when i do have to get off my ass its usually a very high stress high profile situation. Fortunately it has been very slow lately

i have the same problem and i am 6'3.
it is especially a nuisance when i am at a 4-way stop.
i have to duck to see if anyone is at the right cross-street.
it perfectly covers the car, so if i don't duck to look then there is a possible accident waiting to happen.

yup, thats exactly what my problem was, but just adjusting the pivot seems to have made everything kosher for me
