Higher elevation maybe? I dunno, but with the 33s, rear bumper, swingout tailgate, heavy skids/sliders (and a roof rack that probably kills it on the highway) I get 15 on a good day. Oh and the supercharger lol.

    But if @Area51Runner is getting 11mpg with a 2wd on 33s that's concerning

Hmmm... maybe I need to re-order but this time order from a different seller. I think Amazon is listed as a seller on another listing for 1 cent more lol.

    Yep, ordered from https://www.amazon.com/sp?seller=ASH3J3QJ61MH
Showed up not boxed in an amazon box and just the product box. Whoever shipped it, wrapped it in about 50 spins of the shrinkwrap and slapped the shipping label on it. Product box wasn't sealed so I have no idea if it was a return. Prime item so returned it - delivered on 12/2 and still waiting for the refund to show.

hahaha nope. I meant YOU would be at 11. I haven't checked mine lately. Kind of pointless now. It is whatever it is. It seem to go up ever so slightly with the 33s.

Ah ok, the paper bag emoji made it seem like you were talking about you lol. Nah it won't be as bad as 11mpg, plus the roof rack is coming off eventually and that should help.

i was thinking supercharger and that good ol' 92 octane. DO you have to add anything to the tank or is super good enough?

I can only get 91 here, 91 is the minimum you can run. I'd get 93 if I could but not many states sell that

We have a racing gas station in town with 108 octane but I'm pretty sure it's leaded and not for street vehicles...I don't want to have to replace my cats (again)

my bad, must be 91. I usually just fill up with regular so not sure what costco is selling for their premium fuel although I imagine they are all the same rating in CA

yeah I've never seen anything higher than 91 in CA unless it's a racing gas station, but that stuff is leaded I believe.

Tube was removed which took a decent amount of force. Going to try and get the CVs out tomorrow. Doubt anything is salvageable. If this tube were to be reused it would most likely require another $150 shaft. Every spec of dirt that comes out of this diff can be picked up with a magnet.

Yea that seems about right. Not cause of the weight but also it is effectively a wall your truck has to push through the air lol

I would think it's more the weight really...I mean it doesn't cover much more surface area than the stock bumper does. Weight wise though it's a helluva lot heavier

yeah that stuff doesn't really do anything unless you add a bunch of them to the tank, those are largely a ripoff. There are some legit ones but they're hard to find in stores, better to get online

I don't see anything preventing it from being reused after being hit with a wire brush. How are the bearings?

hence why I added 'not', had to add in a little laugh. at least for me.

Someone once told me long ago that all those oil additives that were touted as the best (example: slick50) and all the fuel additives 99% window dressing and if anything, your engine would come to depend on them being used. No thanks.

Yea especially after a winch. I didn't think the bumper was all that heavy. until I added additional 80-100 pounds to it then it got heavy. Now it's a w"did I do this" weight but damn they are worth it when you need it.
