They are for a single lamp. We will clarify that online, thanks for the feedback. And yes, you are correct about the intensity rating. Smaller chip = slightly tighter focus. The Pro is much more overall light, so still the better option if you're looking to maximize total output.

We do not sell the optics separately yet due to demand (all are being used in full lamps right now). We plan to make them available in January.

    Thanks!

I think the intent is that the 360 will fit in the stock fog location, but we're waiting for them to release the adapter mount to make that possible. They said it was going to be available soon, but it's still not here just yet.

Correct, they are supposed to be a drop in once the correct bracket is released. I haven't done the full install research yet though since I'm not really planning to upgrade right now.

Ah, thanks! Yeah, was considering the 360's because of the ability to fit the factory bezel. Hopefully the release the new mounts soon, so I can go ahead and purchase together. :spending:

Not quiet. Candlepower (candles) and Candela are basically the same thing, they measure directional light intensity, similar to lumens, they are not the same measurement as foot candles. Foot-candles and lux are basically the same thing measuring the amount of light on a surface, foot-candles are an imperial unit of light measurement while lux is a metric unit. 1 meter square = 10.764 feet square, 1 lux = 10.764 foot-candles.

Here is a helpful guide from JW Speaker on lighting terminology below. JW Speaker is a very reputable brand in lighting, you haven't seen many posts on them with the exception of my Jeep post, as they don't make Tacoma products.
    https://www.jwspeaker.com/blog/lighting-terminology/

The headlight thread is over here, though all testing is based in the 3rd Gen Tacoma projector. The 4runner uses uncommon side-entry projectors, which means that rather than having the LED emitters pointing to the sides in the assembly, you end up with one pointing to the front and one pointing to the back with the LED blade partially obstructing light from the rear. See post #3 for continued LED testing.

I was just thinking about the updated Sae lens for the BD fogs. Hopefully the upgrade kit comes with a new gasket oring. Still haven't gotten a email back from them yet.

Do they include new o-rings for the normal lens swap kits? The SAE lights are not that old to where the o-ring would be dried out.

I was thinking all the people who want to upgrade it them self's might nick the o ring. I always use new o rings on anything I redo. Just a thought on it.

Then I would expect the SAE update to be no different.

I just got a reply back from BD design to confirm my address. So it seems like they are going to send me the fix.

This was the reply I received yesterday:

We appreciate you reaching out about the SAE fix. Can you confirm your current mailing address? I’ll have an order created for you. Everything will be included as far as the parts and instructions to swap the lens. Let me know if you have any specific questions, thank you.
