This year's TfT run will be held on DECEMBER 7TH. Drop off location will be STAXX in WAIANAE.
-Meet up at 1200 DON QUIJOTE PEARLCITY Roll out at 1230. Lunch at Staxx.
-This is a family friendly run and restuarant so please bring your keiki.
- all toys must be unwrapped
- if it's battery powered toys please include batteries
- most times they are short on toys for older kids 11+
- remove price tags
- if boxes are damaged it'll most likely be rejected
Ps...Please if you are unable to bring a toy do not let that stop you from joining us. I will be bringing extras.

With 12 days of my 30 day grace period left I think I’m ready to get an alignment and do the Recon inspection.
I threw on bushwacker flairs trimmed for tire size and rear bumper and a set of mud flaps.
Let me know if you guys think this will pass or if you see any other issues.

Should be good. Hopfully you dont get the crusty old white guy that fails everyone. I had a younger local guy. He didnt seem to really give 2 shits if the tires stuck out a lil. Fingers crossed for you though

 

I've seen that Taco parked at the hotel for a couple weeks, making me super jealous of all the mods!

Thank you guys for the tips and links to info. This process was extremely frustrating for me having not known about any of these rules in advance, and going through this while living in a hotel with no tools. At one point I was seriously considering selling the truck.

Having said that I will also admit that everyone I interacted with throughout this process was extremely helpful

- The guys at the Wahiawa Midas that tipped me off that I might want to go get a Recon inspection before paying for safety.

-The guys at 4 wheel parts in Waipahu that got the flares for me and bullshitted in the parking lot about mud-flap options for 30 minutes.

- The owner and staff at Scottie’s Alignment for squeezing me in without an appointment and getting all the numbers in the green.

-And even all the ladies at the Wahiawa DMV who were the nicest DMV employees I’ve ever dealt with. And I’ve lived in 6 states.

Actually, the most frustrating part of it all is when you jump through all the hoops, get your truck legal, and then you see all the trucks without recon. At least you have peace of mind.
