    I wasn't advocating for not fixing the issue when found. I was saying that there probably isn't significant damage to the OPs rig. If there is, you'll know it pretty quick even after fixing the issue.

    I have driven a vehicle that was a couple of quarts low. Sprung a leak. Once discovered, I corrected it, but I was on a long drive when I found it. Car ran for a long time afterwards. I don't recommend this though.

    I've noticed increased mpg as well. Was getting 18.x combined before and now 20.x after. Used mobil 1 75 90 front and rear and revanol for the transfer case

    I have a 17 sr at and just changed my front and rear differential fluid with redline 75-85. I checked the fluid before draining and both were at the fill line and slightly draining as I unscrewed the fill plug. never had any whining I keep hearing about just doing routine maintenance.

    I ask because your levels were not low so maybe a dealership actually topped them off prior to delivery.

    Sorry but it's crazy to think any dealership is checking the fluid levels of their vehicles before selling them...I mean with all the corner cutting dealers are notorious for, I wouldn't for one second have faith that they check fluid levels on new inventory. Maybe they pull the dipstick on the engine oil but even that would surprise me.

    Toyota doesn't even tell them to. I would be surprised to find any single truck that had the differential oil levels checked at PDI unless there was a problem they were trying to diag.

    I'd have to agree. If a door fell of during their test drive, yeah, they might notice that, but checking diff oil levels for a PDI? LOL yeah right

    If a dealer was to check the diff oil lvls, they would have install a new washer(s) at their expense as required by the sm. Not likely to happen IMO.

    Indeed. They'll pocket the $400 PDI fee and do a half-assed job of removing the plastic transportation wrap from the truck, and maybe fill up the fuel tank. That's about it...

    What i've learned on TW is never ever buy a TW users truck

    10K oil changes and diffs being low that's ok, but i'm wheeling the shit of this thing next weekend.

    So what are we not doing?

    Wheeling vs. Mall

    Too broke vs. Rich

    Spent my money on "accessories" vs. can't spend money on oil and filters

    Spent the $28 at Blackstone vs. Spending the $28 on filters and oil coupons people it's the fucking coupons
