    That's the spirit. A

I'm sure you know, flex in the shock hoop becomes an issue, how are you planning to deal with it? I'll do a hoop in the bed, bolted through the plastic to control it on my design.

In the past 2 days I've read this entire post. I love for things to be done correctly and I like your style, trying to stick as close to stock as possible. It's like a super stock plus build, love it! Keep it up, best build thread I've ever jumped in.

Just picked up a 2010 FJ, have you looked under these, wondering if the kit would work for FJs. From everything I've read so far, most of the A-Arms are interchangeable. I would love to run 35's with minimal lift and maximum flex using a kit like this! Get back when you can & thanks again!

Thank you for the kind words! I’m not sure about the fit on and FJ but I would be curious myself. I’ve heard the suspension is the same as a Tacoma but I’m wondering how different the rest of the frame is. I would start by asking the guys on the FJ forums

Does anyone know if one of the taco drop down lift kits fits on an FJ?

If a drop down lift from a Tacoma will fit an FJ then this kit will work for sure

My rear go into the bed just a little. I have great clearance in the back. I rub firewall while turned. Need to tub it( I believe that's what they call it)

Let's see a super detailed install on your buddies truck ASAP!

I really want to be one of the early adopters of this system. I just bought SPC UCA’s, they cost nearly as much as this would, I'm tempted to return them and buy this instead.

That said, I'm curious how this system would play with trucks that already have caster correcting UCA's, would you need to return to stock or a UCA with stock specs?

I should be tearing into his truck in the next week or two, still waiting on the shocks from king.

As for the upper arms I don’t understand why anyone would buy the SPC when you can get a real 1 1/2” tubular arm with a uniball for cheaper!

Because if you aren’t mobbing in the desert, the adjustability allowed by SPC arms and lack of maintenance needed on a ball joint vs a uniball are nice to have. It all comes down to how the truck is used

But if you get a caster corrected upper there is no need for adjustable uppers and the EMF uniballs require zero maintenance, last longer than any ball joint and when the time comes they are easily rebuildable.

I like JBA better than SPC, but there's definitely a big market segment where they are the best answer.

I agree on the adjustable ball joint, but I don't see any reason an EMF would be less maintenance or work than an FK uniball. The FK is zero maintenance, but they only last 12 to 18 months around here.

He built arms for this kit that use a uniball. He was pretty clear in the beginning that he didn’t want to use a uniball. The adjustability comes from the LCA mount on this kit and not the UCA.

EMF’s are sealed and have a zerk fitting to grease the joint therefore they last way longer than any uniball. And when the time comes they are easily rebuildable
