It locks at 43 mph

 

well my commute speed limit is 35. This was never a problem on 1.01 - 1.05. 2.0... it’s a problem. If the 2.0 Coming out on Christmas doesn’t fix it.. I’m back to 1.05.

There was one released back in August time-frame, it was the second 2.0 beta, I have been on it and love it, here is part of the file name (note this is just a manually typed path from a screen print i took when i downloaded it, so may not be accurate), sorry i don't know where you can get it, maybe ask Matt? When ordering the tune from OVTune, do they offer tracking info? Reason I ask is packages often get dropped off at wrong place where I live during holiday season. Thanks

 

Yes, I've received tracking numbers on every order I've made from OVT.

 

This is actually extremely rare, so people shouldnt complain. Every tuning company I ever worked with for every sports car I ever owned didnt offer this opportunity. In fact they would all make a second hand buyer of the car buy the tune AGAIN even if they had all the original hardware and same car. And most of them used a Cobb access port with each of their companies respective tune on it, so literally the easiest setup that even exists. Hell when I sold my foRS I had the W400 e30 UNLIMITED from tune+ and the guy made the buyer of my car repurchase the tune package to change anything on the pre existing tune. What a douche.

I did the Base 1.05.1 tune today and took a 15 minute drive. The difference is incredible. I have acceleration on a mild hill without flooring it. So happy with this purchase!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Performance tune will do.

ordered the OV tuning kit today, cant wait for my package in the mail. looking forward to gear lock, no gear hunting while in cruise. cant stand the downshifting for no apparent reason. Ski

 

Just be sure to remember to use traditional cruise control by long pressing the button instead of using radar. The transmission magic isn't baked into the radar cruise yet.

 

Just so you know- I may be wrong, but I don’t believe gearlock currently holds with CC engaged (traditional or adaptive). Mat explained it as having something to do with “0 degree throttle angle demand” or some such wizardry he speaks as his first language.

 

Just got my truck regeared and OVTune at the same time. Well hello new truck this thing is amazing!
Hoping for a 4.88 tune for O4b03

 

04B03 is not a supported ECU. You need to get the TSB for 04B04 then you will get the proper tune files
Do it yourself, or have to go to a dealer to do it.
