Worst that can happen you have to go back to the store and return it. Don't wanna spend a ton on one, HF is your destination. Don't expect quality and longevity as if you spent a ton.

HF is proud if that new plasma cutter. They just amped the price by $150 and no current %10 off anything coupons. Seems like a fair price discrepancy compared to the Chicago electric plasma cutter but NOBODY wants to spend $600 on a Chicago electric tool to start with. Any good reviews yet?

Shit fack, that's ridiculous!! Even more expensive than a Lotos. There's plenty of well known brands for even cheaper than that. This guys smoked some good shit to bump the price so high.

That's what I'm saying! I will say it looked nicer than the lotus machines when I saw it in the store but lotus literally has thousands of 5/5 star reviews out there (cost considered). Honesly IMO it may be able to pull that price but it needs a couple years of HF user reviews and input first. It's at that awkward price point where I'd rather just buy something nicer, well reviewed and spend more....Or buy a lotus....

I have a lotos, no issues. If you want to spend that much look elsewhere.

Definitely. Especially considering lotus has their newer 55 amp digital display model for less than the chicago electric PC.

The only thing I can think of is if the titaniuam has a quality soldered and well mounted circuit board and can withstand being thrown in the back of a pickup everyday? Again prove worth first.

Don't even know why im ranting :drunk:. Sorry lol.

I work in a heavy truck garage and one of my co workers has both The 3/8 and 1/2 Bauer impacts.. we have yet to kill one of them.. If I hadn’t already bought a bunch of dewalt tools I would have definitely bought Bauer.

I’ve been using their earthquake xt impact for awhile and have had zero issues.. and there has yet to be something I’ve had to borrow someone’s snap on impact for. I’m curious to get my hands on one of their 3/4 impacts

I've had very good luck with the following:

Heavy duty steel jack 3 Ton
    Aluminium Racing Jack 1.5 Ton
    21 Gallon air Conpressor
    Engine Lift
    Chicago Electric Plasma Cutter
    Chicago Electric 180 Mig
    Color coded sockets
    1000 lbs hydraulic table

My favorite thing is a super cheap socket set that they have for about $5. I used to buy 1 or 2 of those every time I went. Every time I have a screw that is stripped from the head or stuck and I can't get it out. I'll hammer a socket in then hit it with the flux core welder. I'll hit it with a cheater bar and the screw comes lose everytime.
