@asgardengineering already has very silly ideas about this. I’m quite excited.

Lets be serious here for a moment.
How much injector PW we using stock... dry shots are way easier to plumb

My truck with only an exhaust was seeing 85% IDC. I went with the TRD Injectors (Thanks @Roostfactor) for my N/A truck. For a N/A dry N2O setup, you're going to want more injector IMHO.

Well that would be crazy if a TRD supercharged engine gets over 400 rwhp without nitrous. I know the expected mods and upgraded Kelford cams MIGHT. ;)

    Also working with Rotrex folks.

4.5L cammed engines with more RPM and the MP90 will get it done too I believe. We’ll certainly see. But I’m with you, in that I believe there’s only so much that can be done with the TRD/Magnusson setup.

I wonder how far you could reliably push the duty cycle into the 100s maintaining fuel pressure and a safe afr. I doubt to far with only 40lb in the rail

How are you calculating IDC? (Assuming a function of injector pulse width? ).

Also was that 85% with stock injectors or the TRD ones on the NA setup?

I’m using the built in math functions in the VCM Scanner. It’s a function of IPW. It’s essentially a ratio of how much time your injectors are open versus time available, so it’s dependent on RPM. As RPM’s increase the time available to inject the necessary volume of fuel (to maintain a specified AFR) is decreased, so assuming airflow through the motor was in a steady state, the IDC would go up as the time avail. decreased.

You can find calculators and formulas if you’re the curious type (and I know you are!) online. Otherwise, log RPM and IPW and let VCM Scanner do the math ;)

I was seeing 85% with the stock N/A injectors (~320cc/min). I’d have to look to see where things are now with my setup in my sig.

I think you can change the value in the log from ipw time to % but not sure.

The 85% was with stock 330cc injectors, not the TRD SC 455cc injectors.

Thought I'd share my setup. I've seen a post on another forum asking how folks store/carry their MPVI2's. How do you guys store/carry your MPVI2/cables?

To the crank I know at least a handful of us are hitting over 400 easily, the wheel horsepower is a different story due to all the parasitic drivetrain losses.

100 HP / liter is not too bad for these fat pigs.

@JustDSM what were your reported IDC's after switching out to the TRD injectors?
