Also finally got a dash cam on Black Friday went with the Rexing V1P and it's great so far. The rear camera causes some radio interference in my wife's Accord, Ferrite Chokes did nothin. I'm going to move it from the top of the windshield right under the antenna to down to the bottom. No problem with the rear cam right under the antenna in the Taco though.

Did you get the V1P or V1P 3rd gen? I know there is a difference in the rear camera quality between the two. If you got the V1P how do you like the rear camera picture quality? I've been looking at these and may get one at some point. Thanks

I got the 3rd gen. I had the lower quality rear camera rexing unit before and returned it partially because of how poor the rear image was. This new one is just as clear as the front. And it's still on sale for $30 off on Amazon ;)

I have the same piece. Rides perfect in that cubby no-one uses just in front of the cupholders that almost always go unused.

Have you checked for a parasitic draw with a meter? I had to unplug my UltraGauge because it was causing enough draw to kill the battery in 48 hours if the truck was not driven. Found this out by testing with a meter. I can't remember what the draw was but it went down to the normal range as soon as the UltraGauge was unplugged. This was on an OEM battery and I would expect a good quality AGM with deep cycle capabilities could hand that load for a week or so.

I wonder if you have a charging problem instead. Two checks.
1 ) Check the voltage at both batteries with the truck running. Should be the same. If they are different that means one battery isn't fully charging and the other is discharging to level the system.
2 ) After doing the above. Turn everything off. Disconnect the ground connecting the two batteries. Come back in an hour and check the voltage. Should be the same between the two.

Pm me if either of these fail and i will walk you through what to do next.

And the old girl still runs and looks pretty good. For those concerned about driving and taking pictures I was actually parked in the driveway with the rear end up on jack stands. I also have a bridge for sale.

Another question. How did you power yours? Planning on getting this adapter for mine. I know I need a memory card but I believe I'm gonna need a short cable to run from the adapter to the camera. Do you know what type of plug is used on the camera and any other advise on what you used or needed? Thanks
