Why would there be 2 fuses? I have one from the fuse tap which didn’t blow. I called ARB and asked what size to put there and they said 10 amp. Why would the inline one blow and not the other one?

Something blew that fuse, make sure you replace the fuse. Check your ground wire too, make sure it has a good ground and has not come loose

Checked the ground still solid. Looks like 10 gauge wiring

One 12v goes to your switch to turn the relay one and another one goes to the relay and it powers your compressor.

If ARB said 10 amp I would use a 10 amp

I’ll stop by the auto part store tomorrow in Jacksonville before Chocco and install the new online fuse in the parking lot and you can check it out too. I hate electrical!

I would not hook it back up until you get the fuse.

Need to trace all the wiring to see if it is pinched somewhere or a bare wire shorting out, something made that fuse blow.

Then the wire size calls for 10 amp fuse

    To all,
Many thanks to Brian for helping me replace my rack and pinion over the last two nights. Learned something new and probably really only took us about 4-5 hours. Also flushed the power steering fluid, added a filter for the fluid and flushed and refilled the brake lines. Brake fluid was dirty and bubbles in the back (possibly not done right when I had a friend help me in the past). Also removed the Ready Lift tie rods, so will get a new alignment on Tuesday. Ran these since Aug 17 (two trips to Colorado and one to Moab) and they seemed to have performed well but going back to OEM. Glad I kept my originals! Again many thanks Brian!!! Ya'll have a fun and safe ride today!!!
