I’d skip the lift and put on better tires

If you can wait find a deal on somebody’s takeoffs.

4x4 or 2WD? Do you want to rock climb, desert, or fire roads, or? Does the $1,000 include tires and wheels? How high do you want it?

I am looking for a 3" lift. Mainly desert and fire roads, camping, basic back roads not a hard core wheeler. $1,000 is solely for the lift, does not include wheels and tires. Also 4x4.

^This This kit from toytec seems pretty decent for what you get. This would leave room in the budget for SPC uppers. Or just get the 5100’s all around and set at the highest setting and get an add a leaf from toytec, wheelers or headstrong plus the spc uppers. FYI I’ve got 5100’s on top setting with TRD sport coils and I got a little over 3 inches:thumbsup:

Bilsteins and AAL's are the cheapest way to go, but not my favorite setup.

For a little bit more (like $1200-1300) you could yourself an OME kit. IMO, that's about the best bang for your buck going. Other opinions may differ.

Do most lifts come with them or is this something I buy separate?

They usually don’t come with the kits. A lot of people including myself are very happy with the SPC upper control arms. They are stout!

This is a very reasonable price. You could also contact one of vendors on here to see if they price match.

I hear Bilstein isn’t too bad for the money. I don’t really want to half ass it though
