And I couldn't ask for a better Fusion Rifle. My very last Pinnacle drop from IB this week and it turned out to be about the best roll you can get. This is just as good as the Erintil if not better. The range and impact is stupid on it and the charge time is non existent. Thanks to @Pchop for making me go back into IB at 2:30am last night. Turned out to be a very good drop.

Couldn't sleep tonight so I finally got around to finishing out the Mountaintop quest. Didn't realize that I was relatively close to finishing it. Just had a few more medals to earn and reach Fabled this season. I'll get to have a little fun in Crucible running Mountaintop / Recluse (yeah, I'm that guy) before they nerf Recluse.

I've cross saved to Steam but all my computers are Macs. I've got an Alienware PC that I'm not using right now in the event that I have enough room to set it up one day. But as of right now, it's sitting in the closet. I've thought about cross saving to Stadia since it would be really cool to be able to play wherever you like but I just don't trust the input lag.

Gambit was the only thing that I didn't focus on this season. Got the Randy's Throwing Knife pretty quick, The Mountaintop, The Divinity, The Recluse, The Heavy Bow, and the Xenophage. Along with a lot of exotic 2.0 items. The only gun that I want but haven't decided if I'm actually going to go after it is the Revoker Sniper Rifle from Crucible. I just don't snipe that much so I'm not sure it's worth the effort. It will mainly depend on what the next Pinnacle weapons are going to be. But I got everything out of the game with the exception of the Gambit stuff. But I've really gotten to the point I don't like Gambit as much as I used too.

I still like gambit, it's much better with a team though, the pinicle sub machine gun is really good too.

I haven't stepped foot in Gambit this season. Don't know why? I used to love it but now for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me. Exit Strategy just didn't hold that much attention for me to go after it like the Randy's did. I've got every weapon out of Gambit with the exception of that one and 21% Delirium (think that's where that gun comes from?). I just don't have the desire to step into Gambit for some reason?

I'm not sure what the nerf to Recluse is really going to change? Yes in PvE activities it will suffer just a little bit but really??? It will still be the same gun that is still god tier. The only change is you will have to get crit shots to proc Master of Arms and the only thing that will change is the value of body shots being lowered to not count as crit shots. That's not that big of a deal for me in PvE since I aim for the head every time (which is why I suck with the Jade Rabbit). So yes, there may be a nerf to the Recluse but it won't affect me much and in Crucible it will be non existent since proc'ing Master of Arms and getting a kill while it's active doesn't really happen that often in Crucible even as aggressive as I play. So it's still going to be a 900 RPM beast. The issue I have with Exit Strategy is it sits in the Kinetic slot. The issue with that is there are very few secondaries that I'll use as a primary weapon with the exception of Trust when I go into Comp. But then I'll use my Dust Rock Blues in the Kinetic slot. Every other load out I play revolves around the Randy's Throwing Knife, The Mountaintop, Service Revolver, or a Pulse Rifle. Then I'll fill in the secondary slot with the Recluse or Mindbenders Ambition.

If worst comes to worst though... I'll just use this (though I doubt I'd swap this out for the Dust Rock Blues)

I don't like shotguns so the kenetic sub gives me a chance to use some of the cool new energy pulses instead of blast furnace or bygones. I'm also not a hand cannon guy but I did like trust when I used it to farm kills in the vex offensive for the undying title. And have been trying to use them more just to switch the playstyle up. Really like sunshot in pve although it's not the best exotic that's for sure. I did finish its catalyst this season along with a few other catalyst, jade rabbit, Prometheus lense, Cerberus +1, sweet business, cold heart, and hard light!
Been pretty bust this season I guess.

    I know... TL: DR

But... Since I shit all over Destiny 2 last year (rightfully so IMO) I feel that I need to make an adjustment to what I feel about the game in its current state. I had no desire or plans on ever picking this game back up after the debacle that the game turned into after the release of TBA last year. But after repeated attempts to get me to come back for Shadowkeep from the clan I gave it one more shot. I'm glad I did. Although I feel my thoughts about the game last year were completely justified and I don't feel like I missed out on much, Bungie surprised me with #1: Still remaining in business after losing all their funding and #2: Putting out a pretty good expansion. This expansion wasn't TTK or Forsaken good but it kept me playing the entire time because there was always something to chase after. One of my biggest complaints last year was the pure amount of RNG that was involved with the game. Yes there is still some with random exotics but there is a clear path to get some of those exotics that wasn't there last year. Speaking of random exotics. I've had more exotics drop since I've been playing Shadowkeep than I ever did the entire time I was playing D2 for the first two years. So I "assume" they upped the exotic drop rate? I've gotten as many as two in one day and at least one to two a week since the expansion dropped.

But the biggest change to me was there was always a content drip that kept you coming back for more. There was a clear path to get the weapons that you wanted and you knew what you had to do to get them. The Leviathans Breath Bow is one of those weapons. I never expected to like that weapon and just figured it would be a trophy weapon that would stay in my vault. But I was wrong. I keep that weapon on me 90% of the time with the exception of taking it off during the raid or final boss of the Dungeon.

The Randy's Throwing Knife is by far one of the best weapons (IMO) for a primary that you can have for any circumstance be it PvP or PvE. I spent a full 24 hrs in Crucible getting that gun. I know there are mixed judgements about that weapon but unless there is a better Pinnacle (ritual) weapon for next season... I just don't see me taking it off for anything. It is a beast for lane'ing people in Crucible and it will tear Red Bar enemies up from a distance. Add to that? It's full auto with little to no recoil. So yes... It's the perfect weapon for me since I love Scout Rifles and it's really the only Scout Rifle that will compete with the exception of the Jade Rabbit (debatable) or "maybe" the Mida. Any other Scout Rifle just can't compete in this sandbox. But I have hope since next seasons artifact will feature Pulse Rifle mods and Scout Rifle mods. So I doubt I'll take this weapon off anytime soon.

In going for the Randy's Throwing Knife I got the Recluse by proxy. Nerf or not... it's still the best Sub Machine Gun in the game. But if it turns out to be nerfed into the ground... a God Roll Subjunctive will take its place. I've got two of them with Outlaw and Multi Kill Clip and I had no issue with getting kills with it in Crucible for the IB quest before I got the Recluse.

In going for the Randy's Throwing Knife I was close enough to get The Mountaintop within a few games. I actually didn't think I'd like that weapon and there is a learning curve to it. But once you get good with it, it's hard to beat. I hate to be that guy in Crucible running Mountaintop / Recluse but I am ;) That's just a stupid / OP combination in Crucible (especially sixes). It's just non stop mayhem but it plays to my style of aggressive play.

But then you factor in the IB drops and exotic quests and I've been pretty lucky with getting things by going after other things like Thorn and The Last Word. The only weapon that I need to work on now is the Izinagi's Burden. Other than that... I've got everything.

I really like how they did the season pass but I wish that after you hit 100 they would give you a shard or something after every 25 levels or so. That would be a nice addition.

But these are the weapons I got this season not including many that had decent rolls but were just infusion fuel.

Shotguns are my thing. Dust Rock Blues for primary and Mindbenders Ambition for the secondary. It's a trade off between the Mindbenders and recluse depending on the map.

I have all those except sacred provenance, where'd you get that?
I've been trying to like izanagi's in pve but just can't bring myself to it for some reason, maybe the scope? I don't know.
Actually I don't have last word either and probably never will! I heard sunshot is good for getting lunas?

Edit, don't have mountain top either.

I'm not a big fan of randy's but also have not really given it a fair shake. Just not a fan of scouts after season 1.

Sacred Provenance drops from the third encounter of the raid where you finally take down the Vex. It has a chance of dropping and I got it on my first run through. It is a god roll so I couldn't be happier about that. Every time after that I've gotten the Ancient Gospel hand cannon and although not bad because of the recoil pattern, it's a 140 Hand Cannon and they just don't compete very well in this sandbox. So I just infused them. I've still got to unlock 2 more boxes for the Izanagi's Burden then go through all the forging of the weapons. I'll get it but I'm in no rush. I've figured out that the Whisper does as much damage as long as you don't miss a crit shot. So I do just fine with that and it frees up another for the primary. I haven't used The Last Word but I need to take it into Crucible and see if it is any good. I watched True Vanguard and he was saying if you aren't aiming down sights with The Last Word you are doing it wrong. I tend to believe him as he is a god. I haven't used Luna's since the Hand Cannon Nerf. The only really good Hand Cannon right now is Thorn. You will see a lot of them in Comp along with Trust due to Dragonfly and it's just such a good Hand Cannon. And in Comp everything is pretty close fighting. But not much beats the Thorn right now.

I've always loved Scouts but Scouts aren't in a good position other than the Randy's. It fires so fast and it has very little recoil so you can keep the crit spot pegged and burn shit down fast. With the new artifact it will only make it better.

If you already have the Randy's then the Mountaintop isn't far from your grasp (assuming you have your grenade launcher kills up there). They lowered it from 450 to 75 which makes it much more attainable.

It's not with the Randy's but most every other weapon is. But I'd rather play on console even though a mouse and keyboard is a far superior input device. But I like my setup and when the PS5 comes out I'll buy 4 more of those. 34" ultra wide 4k monitor takes up for the FOV problems on console that you get to adjust with PC. So that doesn't effect me. I feel like I'm good enough with a controller that not many people can beat me. There will always be people out there that are better but I'm happy with my ability to hold my own and get the weapons that are hard to get going solo into comp.
