Just don't do what one bone head I know done right out of college

Graduates with $40k in student loans, gets wife knocked up is a stay at home mom, gets decent paying job doubles down and buys a $200k starter house with basically no money down, house looks empty so finances another $5k in furniture, gets a dog that pisses and shits all over the house, 15k car on finance gets destroyed, and proceeds to buy a new car that's nearly $35k. He now complains he's tapped out, but managed to do all of this inside 4 months. There's people out there that think the economy is hot, nope it's just cheap and easy credit.

Good income can paste over stupid for awhile, but sooner or later some people just run out of paycheck.

I always keep about 6 months of income put up at a minimum in case of business slowing for whatever reason. That is completely separate from actual savings. Savings is so I can retire by 50 and not ever have to worry about money. I never take out a loan I can’t pay cash for either if I’d want to. I bet about 60% of my houses income went straight to savings for this month.

This thread reminds me of a quote by Edgar Allan Poe...

“Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.”

I thought you were “out?” Your anger proves you have serious issues keyboard warrior. Who cusses at random people online?

While you’re digging, be sure to include pictures of...

    1) amount financed & term length
    2) your cash down
    3) trade in allowance they gave you for whatever you traded into them and got dogshit for because that’s how dealers make money.
    4) interest rate

All on your financing documents printed at the dealer, not some piece of paper the salesman wrote on lol during negotiations. Anything besides that is not proof. Shouldn’t be hard to provide and black out personal info with how amazingly smart you are...

    I’ll wait...

I'll wait for your tax returns showing your employment with Toyota in that capacity for 6 years. I'm not a keyboard warrior either. You came out with the jealous attacking of people that bought new trucks. I just responded.

Huh? You just said you were going to “make an ass out of me” by showing proof and now you’re pussying out after cussing at me like a child, after saying you’re done with this thread lmfao. Jesus dude, figure it out!

No ones attacking you (or jealous aha wtf), I’m calling your bluff and you’re being a kid about it lol. Either post proof like you said you were going to do or shut up. It’s not difficult. If you prove me wrong I’ll gladly admit it.

Had a 21 year veteran Delta pilot that I couldn't get financed at any interest rate for a whopping 4K item.
Dude was approaching retirement age and still had his house, 3 cars, a boat AND 110K in revolving debt.

With that on his shoulders, he still willing to sign at any rate I could get him.

No, you asked for proof. Then you asked for documents that are private. What you don't understand is I don't owe you anything. I could gladly post my sticker and the offer from the dealership. This is bullshit according to you and you want finance paperwork. I secured 1.9 and then paid it off. I don't have to prove anything to you. You clearly are asking for stuff you know no one would post.

    And about those tax returns?

He did say exactly that here. He also accurately says that cars lose 70% of their value in four years and that rich people don't put a significant portion of their money into depreciating assets. However, the Taco has historically retained one of the highest resale values after five years. I think the Tundra comes in second. So if you must buy a new vehicle before you're a millionaire, the Taco is not a bad choice.

Not nearly as great as the 1st Gen thread where people resorted to posting their military papers to prove who served the most harderest, and therefore who knows the most about rifle ammo. If you picture 2-3 Walter Sobchaks sitting around yelling at least other, it went something like that.

I had just finnished paying off the first "new" car I bought (had 13 miles on it when i bought it) 5 months earlier... my wifes car a 2007 mazda 6 decided to have a bent valves in cylinder #2.. car was only worth $1300, and I was told it could be upwards of 1500-2000 to get it fixed... went shopping 2 days later.. without the wife, checked jeeps, chevy, dodge, and found my taco... test drove it, said to draw up the paperwork, called the wife as I put the pen to paper "you like my blue car, right?, well now it's yours" drove home in my 20k miles young taco... the blue car I was only paying $50 less than the taco,a dn I wasnt to bad off with that payment on top of the rest of the house, and financials.. so signed, and now I have a tacoma, and go on adventures when i take time off work, or just want to get away for a few days...

as for the financials, you're on your own, but if you can have retirement (I have state retirement: BASE 50% of best 4 years average (so far looking like $82k +2% for each additional year of service), and a 401k (I have a 456k - deferred comp, no employer matching), and a ROTH IRA.. also working on keeping 4 months of living expenses on tap (savings/checking)

Layman’s terms for everyone here reading this thread... what OMGitsme means is:

“I don’t have any proof whatsoever of my claims other than a piece of paper I wrote on to make myself look cool on TW. Because if I did, I could easily black out personal data/info on my smartphone in under 5 minutes and upload it with no ill consequence. Instead,
I’m going to cuss at members and say how much of an ass I’m going to make out of them with said proof, and then not do it while trying to spin shit in the other direction.”

You’ll get those tax returns when you nut up and provide the proof you said you would. Post by post you’re making yourself look like even more of a LIAR.

You don’t have shit brother, we both know it. But keep trying to convince yourself
You got a Pro for 37.5k OTD. Not fooling anyone here but yourself lmfao.

Let me know when you decide to “prove me wrong” with pictures and I’ll chime back in.
