I am trying to figure out what this is I think it has to do with the powersteering and I believe that's where the leak is Not sure if I have to replace the whole part or replace something internally.

That is your steering rack. They can leak, and there are plenty of people on here that have replaced theirs. My understanding is that people typically replace the entire rack. However, I would clean it up and keep an eye on it, that should help you figure out where your leak is coming from.

don't forget to check your power steering fluid level, and I'm pretty sure that these trucks use Auto Transmission fluid, not power steering fluid in the pump itself.

Dealing with this same issue. My local 4x4 shop told me to just keep an eye on the fluid and hold of replacing unless it gets worse. They said that Toyota's have a tendency to seal themselves back up. So hopefully that happens in both of our cases!

A lot of the guys on here say you are better off buying a expensive quality rack because the lower end ones are prone to quick failure

All that build of oil and dirt could very be from leaking valve covers and not your steering rack. Clean everything up really good and look up above towards the valve covers. I would bet a lot of that mess is from motor oil.

Oil will attack your steering rack bushings and deteriorate them. From the pic, your driver side bushing is toast.

UPDATE: I bought Prestones powersteering with leak sealer. It was about $8.00. Three days later and still no leaking.
