To my knowledge, and 20 minutes of research, I can't find an OE part number for anything before MY '19. I checked dealer brochures and the Toyota parts store to confirm. It appears as though everybody does the Pop 'n Lock kit or one similar to this one that apparently doesn't require splicing.

That adapter is the one I am using . It works perfectly and is the easiest and safest way to power a camera (if your camera uses a usb type power cord...I think most of them do).

Yes. You can put a DC to DC charger in place of that isolater I believe.. Thats the route im going with. We have those smart alternators and Im starting to see that DC to DC chargers are the way to go for flawless performance. I watch a lot of Australian based Vids and its just the perfect system. I really think you could swap components actually. Maybe a little wiring re route but shoot , hehe. Look in to it

Look into redarc or C-tek dc to dc chargers....I really think they work better with our alternators and are better for battery longevity over all. Those smart Isolators seem to work "good enough". Im no expert either but im going DC to Dc when I do it.

I thought about getting one of those, but ended up just using rexings hardwire kit and plugged it into the wiper fuse. Not hard at all. Just tucked the wires under the headliner with my fingers. I really have no idea how to describe the plug I'm sorry. It's a fairly common power plug though.

You guys are supposed to be convincing me to spend money on the truck, not a new M&P! I’ve been on the fence for awhile there too.
