I installed LED bulbs in my tail lights with resistors on both sides. Once I installed the MESO turn singles I removed both because the resistors were causing hyper flashing. Then I installed the XDs and now I'm experiencing hyperflash again. @MESO last time I had a problem with this you had a solution. Anything brother?

I have stage 1 tails, how do u know if they have resistors?

 

As someone who just put in stage 1s and who is putting in Morimotos as we speak I'd like to know this as well lol

 

I have the v4 ultimate turns if that matters.

 

The first version meso released has the orange anodized aluminum, those are the resistors, I'm not sure about his updated version

 

There’s no aluminum “box” with the ones I just installed. I don’t mind purchasing resistors, just would like to know.

 

You have meso updated version of the stage 1 then.

 

@TRSAndrew you guys need better quality control, i was outside my truck waiting for my gf to do her shopping and was admiring my headlights until i noticed there is smudges/fingerprints on the inside housing.

 

Does that mean no resistors or are they integrated somewhere.

 

I’d be pissed considering the price.

I tried searching for info earlier and was having a hard time finding anything.

I tried dialing in my headlights after installing and I'm not gonna lie. It's kicking my ass.

I've got the driver side dialed in but the passenger side doesn't want to cooperate. I set the height and when I go to pull it to the left it went up to a point. Then stopped. Then started dropping down. I can't get it to raise back up unless I take it back to the right again.

I finally gave up after a lot of frustration. The height is correct but the passenger light is way off to the right side.

Also, if I take those bolts out for the washer fluid can I lay it to the side and make my life easier?

I have the same frustration with the driver's side. I am also searching for an answer. I called TRS, but not much help. I'm afraid any further adjustments will make it worse.

 

No resistors were included with MESO kits because he found they weren't needed. Very few of his kits hyperflashed so he thought they're not needed.

FTR I have Stage 2 MESO tails and the Morimoto headlights with no resistors and I don't have any hyper flashing. You should be ok IMO.

 

I've got MESO Stage 1s and the Mori headlights and fogs and zero hyper-flash as well.
