Winner!! A bit too obvious but fack it. They decided to drop the die before the bender but fack it again. Lmao

I promise you you’re gonna hate having it mounted to the floor after a little while. You’ll tell yourself now it’s fine and nothing is gonna get in the way and everything will go smooth but having it on wheels is a game changer!

build a 30”x 30” + and mount the plate right to it and add a caster to each end.

I'll show you guys my plans as far as mounting setup. Basically it'll be plug and play, removable from the floor for now. I though the actual bender was gonna be delivered today so I picked up some steel this morning. I agree on the mobile setup, I'm sure down the road I'll go that route.

This is a true statement. I have multiple projects going on at the same time and it’s dang nice to be able to roll it out when needed

How do you manage it from keeping from moving while bending?

Get a swag Offroad hydraulic ram mount and a harbor freight long arm Ram air/hydro and then it won’t move while you bend even if the wheels aren’t locked haha. That’s $200 total and you plug it right into your air compressor and boom!

I've read/researched/watched videos/etc about that. It's in the list for sure.

I would have to capitalize the bender/welding in order to invest in it. So far everything I've bought welding related has payed itself cause I've fabricated a bunch of stuff not to mention everything I've done to my truck. Yes, $200 is nothing compared to what I just spent on my bender setup. LOL

On a side note, do you guys think this ground clamp would be an upgrade from the one my welder came with? I got the cheapo freight migmax 215.

If you’ve got more time than money, build your own. I built this over complicated ram mount like 12 years ago. I’m on my third harbor freight ram, but the mount is still holding up. And like everyone else said, being able to roll it around is priceless.

I’m not sure what brand it is. I just got a new weld truck at work and it came with a 300 amp and 500 amp ground clamp similar to what you posted. The 300amp wasn’t bad, but I have to use 2 hands to get the clamp open more than 1/2” with the 500amp.

I’m not sure what your mig max clamp is like, but I prefer the style clamp that comes on the larger millermatics for the stuff I do at home.

    Something like this

The one on the link it's basically the one my welder has. The one in the pic is a cheapo freight one.

Basically set the stand on wheels. I think I have some 2X2 I can use to make a cross and set my stand on top of it.
