    :yay:
So I just picked myself up a BlackBerry Bold 9700. I had a Pearl 8110 before and had no issues with it so I figured why not upgrade to another sweet BlackBerry! So far I love this phone. The buttons are a tad small but it has all the options the Pearl had plus a lot more. The screen is very clear even viewed thru sunglasses. Its not the typical BB trac-ball so it doesnt get stuck. Like I said, I love it.

    Lets hear about your BlackBerry's!

I have the 9700 also, a great improvement over my Pearl flip. The only drawback for me is the browser (OS 5) takes forever to load, OS 6 which is on the Torch has the new webkit browser that's much faster. I hope the 9700 gets OS 6 soon or I might have to trade it in for the Torch.

I have a Blackberry Tour 9630. Been a pretty good phone in the not quite a year I've had it. Probably going with a Droid when I'm up for an upgrade. But no complaints with the BB.

As far as the browser, I've always thought the BB browser was garbage. I don't even use it I run Opera Mini. Works much better IMO.

The battery life is awesome on the 9700 to. I wish Verzion had it. I've got the 9650 and it might last a day without charging. My boss has the 9700 and only charges his about ever 3 days.

I didn't have a data package with the Pearl so I never used the browser at all. How did you get Opera Mini? Is the same as on a computer where you download say, Google Chrome and uninstall IE?

Just go to I believe its mini.opera.com on your BB browser and it will give you instructions from there. To me it seems to run faster and smoother to me and I just generally like it much better.

Not sure. Don't really use any apps which open links so I've never checked into it.
