Who can recommend a barbershop to help me keep my wildman beard unhomeless-looking while I grow it out? Occasional trim and shape so I can be considered semi-professional for work. Somewhere between Seattle and Puyallup in the N-S direction, and Federal Way to Enumclaw the E-W direction.

I go to "the shop" in Bellevue. It is a chain and they have locations in Covington and enumclaw. It's not a traditional barbershop but it's the best I've found in the area.

Do they use a straight razor to clean up the edges?

Scissors + mirror + bravery... should be good enough until you get it grown out. Staying professional is just a matter of combing it and cutting the overly ambitious growers.

Fortunately, my wife is a stylist in DT Seattle (Set Salon), so I get home service.

At the location I go to they do so I assume they would at any of them. Worth a call though just in case.

It's already grown out about 4 inches or so and I have been keeping it tame. It was a few inches from my navel in the spring of 2018 before I cut it. I'm wanting someone who can keep it looking good while I continue to grow it back out at least that long.

    That place is crazy expensive.....

I do not have a recommendation for Seattle area, I go to Gig Harbor to an actual barber shop... $12 Hair cuts. However I also get "traditional" barber shop hair cuts.. I do not need anything fancy.

It's more than I would like to pay for sure but was really having trouble finding a place/person that I liked so now I just skip Starbucks a few times a month to make up for it.
