Yea it’s crazy they don’t want to give you anything for them but then they want to turn around and sell them for double what they offered. I went to trade mine in as it sits with everything on it and they tried to offer me $12k

I gotcha, selling my 2nd taco to fund my wife’s 4runner. I don’t need 2, although 2 tacos are better than one. But a 5th gen 4wd t4r will be just as good.

My dad has been looking at trading his taco in for a Crewmax.. they think a lot of those trucks.. most we've looked at with decent miles have been high 20s to mid 30s.

That's what I would like to get out of the Taco with all the parts and stuff, rack, tent, everything.

Spendy, for sure. The more I look the more I am thinking F150.

I like my ecodiesel for now, but I would not recommend it to anyone......nice interior, good fullsize comfort, heated steering wheel and seats are great ! Great mpg's, averaging 26+mpg in the past 12 mos. DEF is not a big deal, I use 7-8 gallons per 10,000 miles. Oil and fuel filter changes are easy. I have one open recall at the moment, that is for the EGR cooler potentially leaking. got a letter a couple weeks ago. basically it read like this "your EGR cooler may leak and as a result may burn your truck to the ground. we dont have a fix for it yet, please stand by" I have a tuned ECU that I can no longer get support for, EPA shut that company down (GDE), I do still have my stock ECU for when I have to go to dealer for recall service (swap in / swap out, 10 minute job). In stock form the thing is a stumbling pos that cant get out of its own way, severe throttle lag until fully warmed up, which can take 15-20 minutes. Next truck will be an F150 ecoboost crew cab, whenever this thing burns to the ground. I know people that run a 2500 Cummins that get around 20 MPG, too much truck for most people's needs though. Oh yeah, my backup camera works about 80% of the time, the fix is to slam the tailgate a few times, and it works again. :annoyed:

the ford diesel I had was nice until the trans went and was on an 8mo back order.

i think I’m done with newer trucks until the next gen tundra/Tacoma come out.

    Sharp Tundra Matt!

Friend had this truck in white and let me drive it/haul some stuff for him a few years ago. From what I remember, it drove great and had plenty of power. I just wish this model Tundra was just a little bigger. Somewhere between this and the size they are now.
