Yeah suck that, snow and slush and fog? Nice timing on ending it and hopefully nothing needs replacing just tinkering with or something. Does the wife freak out or does she do pretty good with it all? I dunno, cracks me up thinking about some times past wheeling with the ex.... Hahhaha:rofl:

Lots of snowy and muddy fire roads, not technical but definitely 4x4 due to conditions. Did about half of Gold Mtn, a rocky 4x4 trail but it was pretty well iced over halfway up and we turned around.

Oh she wasn't there, no way she could have endured all that today being 8 months pregnant...we would've ended up having the baby on the trail lol. She's been up there with me before though.

    Sucks, hopefully nothing.

Had my own wtf moment as well. Was pulling out of the driveway and actually felt the driver side hit the pinchweld area of the fender liner. Thought it was odd but was in a rush to get out to the lake. Happened again in the parking lot. Checked and sure enough, looks like the driver side is out of whack. Didn't hit anything but I'm guessing with it being off the caster is wonky. Truck still tracks and doesn't pull but still going to take it in ASAP. Perhaps my favorite alignment shop didn't do a good enough job of torquing them?

Beats my drive time. I think we're at 2:45 - 3:30 depending on traffic.

Cleaning it now means you may not have to replace parts. Heavy mud that gets into the ujoints and accessory drive is the worst. Like having a built in belt sander

Yah after work tomorrow I'll take her over to the self wash station and give her a good cleaning. Hopefully the owner isn't there to give me stink eye for bringing in my muddy truck.

Yeah but you have the Sierras, I wish we were closer to there. The mountains down here just aren't nearly as pretty as those are. Takes me a good 5 - 6 hrs to get to the southern sierra

there is that I guess. Altitude never bothered me before, now I head up there - takes me a day to get used to the elevation change.

Altitude sickness is no joke, Ive only started to feel it at around 14k ft when I hiked Mt Whitney. But people that are more sensitive to it can get it around 9 - 10k ft.

I am so glad I don't have that problem. Did a local 13 mile trail today in 2 hours house to house. Lots of snow above 8000'. It was deeper then I expected and probably stupid to do solo. lol

It's got it's perks. This is one hour in and about 7500'. It got way deeper. Like deep to the point I couldn't stop. 2nd gear lo rear locked at 3500RPM's for at least a mile. Like I said, stupid. lol

I used to park the grey truck on the lawn with a sprinkler under it, come back in two to three hrs.
