I mean I've been seen, not by a specialist though. It's my sciatic nerve that is getting hit because I have 2 discs in my lower back that are beef jerky. It sucks.

Completely sympathize. Got to check off Miscrodiscectomy a while back.

You should get an MRI asap. Three years is too long to be suffering like that, which sounds like a pinched nerve. No sense in letting that take over your life if it can be fixed. Recovery is a breeze. Need ya out on these trail runs!

Yeah I need to do something other than going to the chiropractor and PT. Neither of those are helping. But at 26 do I really want to have back surgery? Sucks.

I hear you man. My surgery was the welcome ceremony to my 30s.

Surgery, especially, back related is scary, but it is such a common ailment, that it's literally walking out of the hospital the same day as the operation. Six months of no heavy bending, lifting or twisting and you've got your life back.

    :benchpress:

Just sucks too see other folks suffering after having been through that. : /

I suppose after this new year I will look into it more, I just upped my insurance so that will be a good time to do it.

If I go I'd be coming from the Issaquah area too. Safeway in enumclaw is always a good meeting area.

I’ll be able to go for a little bit but my dad asked if I can help him lift his tundra on Sunday so I’ll have to cut out early

Edit: damnit! just remembered I’m meeting someone to look at a slide in camper sometime on Sunday so I think I’m out on this trip unless he cancels

I’ll come meet everyone in Enumclaw though Before you guys head up!

Side note, anyone have any insight on portable air compressors? I don’t know if I’m ready for on board air just yet.

Viair for sure. Which model really depends on your tire size.

    I have this: https://www.amazon.com/Viair-00088-88P-Portable-Compressor/dp/B005ASY23I
but I'm only running stock tire size

What time are we thinking? Some time between 8 and 9?

I've only had to use it a couple times, but it has worked very well.
I know the max recommended tire size says 33" for the 88P, but you probably want to step up to the 300P if you're going to be airing up your tires on a regular basis. The CFM rating jumps from 1.47 to 2.3 when moving from the 88P to the 300P.

If you're planning on going bigger than 33" at some point you should probably look at one of the 400 series viairs or just bite the bullet and go OBA.

I would take all of that with some salt since I'm a relative newbie to the Tacoma and off-roading scenes.
