I had a 1973 VW Bug similar to that color, bet that is a Factory color for Porsche.

I believe it is. Porsche had several similar greens way back when. I can't tell if this is Lime, Apple, or Chartreuse.

Speaking of green, here's some recent pics of my '68 Firebird, currently undergoing restoration. It's a PHS documented Ram Air 1 car found over 20 years ago in a SE Ohio barn stripped of all special equipment. It now runs a street/strip prepped 428, a Tremec TKO, and a 12-bolt rear end, among many other upgrades. As soon as I found out it was a RA1 I stopped all plans to cut it up, and have only ever done things to it that could easily be reversed and that look more-or-less stock...or at least period correct. This is the second paint job we've done and is the factory color (Verdoro Green) in a modern 2-stage finish with some candy added to the clear. It's in reassembly now and the motor is getting rebuilt with some additional port work and other enhancements after about 40k miles of fun. Other upgrades this time include reproduction Ram Air exhaust manifolds that have been internally re-engineered, a tuned port EFI system, and an offset shifter to put the stick back in the factory location. I'm also adding a modern, but hidden wiring harness with the fuse block and all other electrical systems mounted on a custom panel in the glove box. It should be done in the spring, and we can't wait!

Nice. I had a '68 years ago...mine was Flambeau Burgundy with a Parchment (white) interior. I wasn't lucky enough to have a RA car...just a 350. I'd like another one, but for some reason, I have a craving to build up an OHC 6/4-speed combo.

I just read an article in a recent Car Craft magazine about building a sprint OHC 6, and now I want to try that too. Lots of room for boosting performance there, just not lots of room in my budget or garage.

That is a very modified car. Possibly a Singer, or a car done up in a similar manner to a Singer. Hard to say if the color is an original one.
