Last summer i bought a van for the coast trips though so thats helping. The truck can be more of a dedicated mountain rig now. Pushing tires and 4wd to the coast in perfect weather was getting silly

That's a seriously nice piece of work. I probably wouldnt even get a swing out or anything.

How'd the roof rack install go?

 

Took about 45mins to build and install.
(Both of us had two impact wrenches rolling. Went together like an old erector set).
Lol, my riding buddy came over and he is a master bike tech.
The two of use ripped into like a candy bar lol.

I thought of you when I saw the HC version Mobtown makes that is non swing out.
Looks dope!

I will be getting one like the the Red Truck. But will have to be a dual swing out, so I don’t have to unhook my trailer to get into the tailgate.

 

What's the little knob for on the right hand side by the tail light for?

 

That’s a lock out. A pin is attached to that knob and it can drop into three settings. (Closed, 90, 180)

Most don’t build a swing out strong enough on the market for Offroad.
You can watch some become loose and droop when my buddies open them.
