Anyone have to do the diff drop, cb spacer or axle shims with this kit and a 1.5” aal in the rear?

I have had the wheelers 1.5 AAL since day one on my Tacoma and have not shimmed it or done the carrier drop and no weird vibes or other behavior. Possibly at 1.5 you just are not messing with angles enough to make a difference. I have the Eibach springs and shocks for the front on the lowest setting no diff drop. I think consensus is drop not needed at just a couple inches

Installed this kit on my truck a couple of weeks ago paired with a Deavers 1.5 AAL on my 18 DCSB SR5. I must say the ride quality is drastic compared to the stock suspension that my truck came with. Had been debating on Eibach vs Bilstein for some time now and I'm glad I went with this kit. Although I don't think you could go wrong with Bilstein 5100s either (my brother installed them on his Frontier a week prior).

Are you happy with the Deaver AAL as far as ride quality? I'm debating on the single leaf Deaver vs 3 leaf. Don't really want my truck to ride like a stage coach.

Hey Ryan, I have your kit ordered and am trying to get all my ducks in a row as far as install goes and rear lift, etc. Is it ok to run a small top hat spacer on the front coils to get a little additional lift? I was thinking about getting the 1/4 Headstrong spacer which would provide 1/2" lift. I don't run any weight in the front so I was going to use the bottom notch.

    Thanks

That's fine. Or just run it on the second clip and skip the spacer.

I don't know how much you save using Fed Ex but it's not well saved money. They constantly fail in my area. Said it was coming Saturday up until Sunday. Then said Monday. Now they're not sure if it's on the truck. It's maddening. Now someone has to be there to sign. It's borderline insanity to use Fed Ex ground.

Sorry, that really sucks. To be honest, I actually find fedex waaaaay more reliable than UPS.

Hi, new to the forum and just purchased this Eibach Pro Lift Kit for my 2019 TRD OR on Black Friday!

I plan on running SCS Ray 10's 16x8 -12 , and Falken Wildpeak 265/75/16's with the truck. Would all I need to maintain a rake similar to factory be a 3 leaf progressive such as the below? Are there any additional components needed to install (Saw some posts about differential drop kit etc.)? I also planned on getting the ECGS bushing to avoid any future breakage or vibrations due to this. Also a few more related questions: would UCA's be recommended? I read that they aren't necessary for most lifts under 3". With this kit, is the "taco lean" noticeable and would the 1/4 spacer be required?

So if you run it on the second clip it will give you 2.5 inches of lift?

Yeah but it will ride rough I believe unless you have added weight in the front

Seems to be riding just fine. No complaints from me at all.

Nice, you going to leave the overload leaf in? Can’t decide if I’m going to leave mine in or pull it.

Thought I would post some info I found that no one answered when I asked about alignment and lifts in a thread I started a long time ago and that died a horrible limited response death. So I put on the lift this past weekend. I already had a Wheelers 1.5 AAL in the rear. Also installed a SSO Slimline and 10k winch this weekend. I had new tires put on last week and it was aligned then as well (Lifetime at Firestone). Took it back in today to get it re-aligned as I was curious what a lift actually does to your alignment. Since I am useless at posting pictures in summary prior to lift my truck had 2 degrees of caster, post lift I am at 1.5. While lower that is not really out of spec so Firestone did not change, but we will see how highway behavior is. Only other difference was toe was a little out on each wheel and they adjusted that. Just an FYI for all you folks out there. BTW on I am on lowest shock setting, even adding winch and bumper I netted 1.5 inches. This is perfect in my opinion as my 1.5 aal is supporting a snugtop shell and pile of misc crap I keep in my camper

When I installed my brothers Bilstein kit on his F150 I ran into the same problem. If I remember right I removed the threaded rods then was able to rotate them out of the spring. Pretty sure we were using a very similar spring compressor.

Edit: I looked at your picture closer, we may have been using a different compressor which allowed us to remove the threaded rod. It’s been a while since I did it.
