    Damn, hate to hear all those issues. Seems like Ford has the Ecoboost fine tuned at this point.

    My BIL has a 18-ish F250, and ripped all the DEF and emissions crap off...he get's 22-23mpg out of it...that's not bad, except the thing cost $65k plus another $5k in exhaust, tuning, and emissions delete.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    I consistently get 18-20 in my tuned 5.0. It was sluggish stock, unless in sport mode. With the tune, it regularly drives like sport mode+ and sport mode now feels like "Ludicrous speed".

    I don’t think N.C. is plugging diesels in yet, there has been talk but currently anything 8600gvwr and higher only gets safety inspection. If it can pass visual and no lights are on, it passes.
    Even my gas E-250 work van only gets a visual and a safety and I’m in an emissions county.
